The Clock is Ticking

Jimin tries to recall what exactly happened in his life. He knows that everything seems confusing. Must be his pregnant hormones. Jimin remembers speaking to Jungkook secretly when they met accidentally in the mall. When he said he wanted to give their marriage another try. Jimin was unclear with his response until Jungkook went to their house and asked his Dad's permission that he will "pick up his family" and Jin kind of pushed him to go back there the agreement, he was also speechless when he found out about his pregnancy a month ago. " I'm pretty sure I'm not a forgetful person, but oh my! these pregnancy hormones are taking over me," Jimin said as he was munching an apple he was relaxing while watching TV in their room.

Jimin is doing his best to go to work, his pregnant belly is getting heavy and he has difficulty in breathing because of the heaviness of the baby inside him.

Something never changed, after that 1 month of the so-called peace at the Jeons, it is just the same now before they left off. Jungkook is still Jungkook, he quit his job at his father's firm, the reason? he's bored. The fights have been non-stop as always. And Jimin is overly emotional due to his pregnancy and ends up avoiding him more. Every time Jungkook will have a temper tantrum, Jimin will pick up Minji and lock themselves in their bathroom. Those happened quite a few times and Jungkook was furious. He almost broke their bathroom door due to his heavy knocking in one of their fights. "C'mon Jimin, I said open the door!" Jungkook was screaming at them. The then 2-year-old Minji was crying seeing her parents fight. She hugged Jimin while they were inside the bathroom. "Go to your friends! They are more important than Me and your daughter" Jimin yelled from their bathroom. There were also several instances when Jimin tries to hurt his pregnant self, and again it is all because of Jungkook's selfishness. Once irresponsible, always irresponsible, that was the most applicable saying to Jungkook.

Before Dr. Tang gave Jimin his leave due to his condition and too much stress, he talked to Jin. A few weeks ago, they met at their parking lot, and Jin wanted to get clarity regarding the father of his child. "It's you love, when I went back there with Minji nothing happened between Me and Jungkook. I kept my distance. I value our relationship, even if he still has the right because I'm still stuck with him in the papers, but I didn't allow him to do the deed to me." Jimin explained.

Jin is getting more guilty now than ever. He tries to beat himself up. He wished that he have all the money in the world so that he could buy their freedom.

After their last conversation, Jin never sees Jimin again. His mind was driving him nuts. He felt pressured. He wishes to do something so bad so he could get Jimin and the kids from Jungkook, but the days, turned into weeks, and the weeks turned into months and months, next thing he knew its January. He felt frustrated with himself. He felt that he failed.

Namjoon is still faking his sickness, Jin didn't know that the medical allowance that he is giving him was being spent on unnecessary needs. Namjoon does his best to climb the ladder. Every time he says he will visit his parents in Ilsan, he was just dropping Ryu Jin to his parents so that he could be with his "rich friends" and hang out. All the fancy clothes and jewelry were hidden by Namjoon's parents. Namjoon's parents were consensual. Their whole family takes advantage of Jin. They secretly made him their milking cow. "I left the money for your medication on the nightstand" Jin left a note as he was running late to work. Ever since Jimin disappeared Jin was always in their office, working triple time. Although the handsome face was still visible, it kind of looked haggard. He had eye bugs that weren't there before, the milky white skin grew dry, and the luscious plump lips were almost grayish due to the effects of his non-stop smoking. Jin was slowly sailing his close to sunken ship alone.

"I wonder when he is gonna give birth?" Jin questioned himself. As a father, he has that special feeling for his unborn child. He feels their connection somehow. "I wish I could be there when he gives birth, I wanted to see my child, he is the most special gift that the heavens gave me. " Jin realized that he was crying as he was leaning in the driver's seat of his car. After his shift, and with Namjoon and Ryu Jin always at Ilsan, he finds himself hanging out in their parking lot. And does his usual recording about his love for Jimin and now for their child. "Love, I have no clue what happens to you now, last time we spoke was in November, I wonder how you spend your holidays with Minji and our baby? I have a lot of things to tell you, but how can I tell them when you are not around, I hope you're still hanging in there and that you never lost your faith in us, I'm so sorry for not being able to be there for you during your pregnancy. I don't have much money like your ex, but I wish to spoil the three of you, Haaahh, I'm sorry I'm crying again, this had been my routine for a while now. Jin paused the recording and put on day 132.

At the Jeons

" He must have forgotten us, baby, maybe his enjoying his new sets of friends and they were hanging out, or things between his ex must've been fixed and he left us behind. Maybe Jun Hyi was right for calling your dad an asshole. Maybe they are all correct and I'm the only fool who believed him." Jimin caressed his 8th-month baby bump as he was crying in the bed alone.

A/N: hmm.. I think I am in a hyper mood today. I couldn't imagine I could do three updates today. I hope you all like this like the other chapters. A few more chapters to go and we will bid farewell to this book. I hope y'all are still stuck with me until the finale.
