Kamiki, Shima and I were sitting together on the coach to the beach.

We had all been selected to go on a exorcist mission to the beach (along with Rin) so we all decided to sit next to each other.

Which translates to Shima and I plonked down next to Kamiki and forced her to sit next to us.

If I’m gonna be honest, this all seems like a free holiday to me, so I’m not gonna argue, I don’t have to do schoolwork but it also means I have to be at the beach.

I hate the beach.

Moving on:

Unlike every other protagonist ever in the history of stories, I decided to engage in communication.

Crazy, I know right?

"So are we gonna talk about the romantic tension growing between us three or just pretend it doesn't exist until there will eventually be a misunderstanding between us all causing us to hate each other until we communicate and realise we liked each other all along?" I asked them both, raising an eyebrow at them.

They both just sat there silently staring at me as I explained the plot to every romcom to ever exist.

I have skills, I know.

“Wah-!” Shima splutters, face flushed bright red as his eyes dart around the carriage.

Kamiki just rolls her eyes at him before turning back to me.

“I don’t know what you’re talking about.” She says flatly, but I can see the light brush of pink on her cheeks.

I know she’s only acting like that because she doesn’t know how to react, I mean, she literally admitted it to me at the cafe.

“Awe! You’re both embarrassed! This is adorable!” I exclaim, squealing.

If I’m gonna be honest, I thought Shima would be more nonchalant about the whole thing.

Kamiki doesn’t surprise me though, she is a definite tsundere.

“Shut up Akito!” They both shout at me at the same time.

“Oof, sorry.” I reply, no remorse showing on my nor in my tone. “Are we going to though? Genuine question this time.”

“I mean… I like you both… I think…” Shima manages to say, looking terrified of out reactions.

Like homie, if I brought up the conversation then why am I gonna get angry at you saying it. It’s gotta be the pink hair that makes him act this way.

“That’s sick because I like both of you guys and I know for a fact that Kamiki likes both of us.” I respond, smiling gently at him.

Kamiki catches my eye and sends a short, brief smile showing her thanks to me admitting it for her.

“Oh thank God! I thought you guys were gonna think I’m a freak or something!” Shima visibly relaxes in the seat, looking a lot less like he was about to be attacked by hordes of bugs and insects.

“Of course not you idiot.” Kamiki says softly, looking as confident as ever.

“Do you guys wanna do, like, a mock test on dating each other, like, we date for a week and see how it goes?” I ask them both.

“But isn’t it weird for all three of us to be dating at the same time?” Shima asks gently, looking confused again.

“Not really, it used to be a very common thing but over time society has moved to a more monogamous romance era, leaving polyamory behind.” Kamiki says to him like she’s quoting it straight out of a book.
