Jac Vawn?

Aramis wanted to move closer, but I couldn't. I was stuck like glue... My heart raced every time I breathed, every moment I blinked my eyes, my mouth was dry and I couldn't speak. I didn't want to speak. Because that's Jacin Vawn.

The guy whose life I completely destroyed.

The moment Ami realized who it was, I heard him cursed under his breath and turned his head towards me. I couldn't take my eyes off of what I'm seeing, what I'm hearing, and what I'm feeling... This wasn't the Jac I knew.

Because that Jac Vawn was gone and was replaced with this.

Continuing his pace, he had the girl stand up and pushed her against the tree. Her faced winced in pain as she was roughly being used from behind while her bare breasts were pressed up against the hard wood, with nowhere for her to escape.

Aramis must've saw the hurt look on my face because he moved closer and immediately hugged me, burying my face on his chest and hearing his heartbeat as tears fell from my eyes. He kissed the top of my head to calm me. He of all people, only knew my relationship with Jacin, he knew how much we were too toxic to each other and how we were never really a perfect match.

I slightly turned my head to see what was going on, and that's when Jac and I locked eyes with each other. His face was red with lust and embarrassment, but even if he was already caught he didn't even stop. Instead, he grabbed the girl's hips and her throat and started thrusting in and out of her at a fast pace. The girl cried out, screaming obscenities into the forest (another thing about the Mystic Forest, is that no matter how loud you scream no one will ever hear you, unless you are within ten feet away from each other) as she held on to the tree for dear life.

His eyes filled with raging anger never once left mine, as he chased his high, my eyes went blank and he came inside of her. But he didn't check on the girl to see if she was alright, instead his gaze was still locked with mine. Entranced.

I went still underneath Ami's hold and that's when he lifts up my chin and kisses the tip of my nose. My eyes fluttered with salt water and as I stare into his silver eyes, I–

I forgot what I was crying about.

I looked at Aramis, confused, then slowly looked around, we were alone. And what was I crying about?

Ami lifts up my head and thumbed the tears away. "Are you alright, my love?" he asked in a gentle voice. I nod, still confused on why I was crying. Must be the sunlight? He smiles at my response and we proceed on walking towards Crystal Falls.

We were swimming one day in Crystal Falls, when an unfairly ruled swim race was occured we found the cave behind the water. At first, we explored the place but inside there was nothing special. Except for the part of the cave that we missed then we found the crystal gold mine.

We were just 12 by then, and we didn't know what to do, we couldn't hide it because it was to heavy to move. So, Aramis talked to his sisters and helped us build the hidden cave where we sealed the place with powerful magic, and only our charm bracelets were the ones that can open the forcefield.

Since then, we called the place Crystal Falls.

Like the Bat Cave, we made our own hideout where it's a place we can meet and no one can disturb our peace. We never pawned the crystals or did anything to it, it was a beautiful piece of decoration to the place and great light source.

We surrounded the lake with hungry snappers to keep unwanted people from entering the cave. The hungry snaplers are from Psyionre, and I speak half-hungsner (the language of the hungry snappers), so they know who to attack and who owns the place.

Making our last turn, we made it to the Crystal Falls, where the water never stops. We climbed up the hidden staircases on the way to the cave. At the forcefield, the wall and our charm bracelets created a purple lighting, causing the disguised rockwall to dissappear and opening the way inside.

We sat down by the flaming dragon and warmed up on the cushions.

"So, Ami. Why did you want us to meet here?" I asked already. I was curious before, and I'm certainly even more curious now.

He stared deeply into the fire, his eyes glowing of red and orange from the light of the flames, he didn't answer for a moment and went on in complete silence. He then pulls out something from the pocket of his cloak, it's a black box with a flame ribbon tied around it.

"This is for you, Sloane." He gives the box to me without even letting me say a word. "Before you say anything, I just wanted to let you know that I am always here to protect you, even when I'm not really there."

I opened the box and inside was a beautiful heartflame ruby. My hands slightly shook as I took it out of the box. "T-This... This is... Ami." I stared back at him with content.

"This is for you to use when you are in danger," he says as he takes the ruby. "Just say the magical creature you want and it will come to you. This will protect you as long as you have it with you at all times."

He takes my charm bracelet and combines the ruby with it, then hands it back to me. "Now, you not only have the Pixie Crystal and the Sunlight Gem but you also hold one of the most powerful rubies in the entire kingdom, the Heartflame Ruby. Guard it with your life."

"But–"

"No buts. Only accept."

"I don't deserve such a valuable thing! What if I lose this, and it goes into the wrong hands? Do you know how deep it would affect my conscience?!" I snapped at him, asking, begging for him to take back the ruby.

To make this ruby requires only the most powerful beings in the entire mystic industry. It took them years to perfect such a thing! And I can't be holding onto it, knowing goddamn well that I'm going to lose it.

"You continue to doubt yourself and yet you proceed to always make it out alive in one of the TDTs? I'd stake my life on my entire kingdom that you can, and will, protect this ruby with your life and use it when necessary." He walked towards one of the fishes and gave them some treats as he continued to ignore my plea on taking the ruby back.
(Toxic Demon Tournaments)

I give up.
