I stared at his dying body on the ground until I came back to my senses. I walked past him and went to the hill. I took his bed apart and made it comfortable for myself. I was laying down and thinking about what I just did.

I went to go check again to make sure he was dead, it has only been a few minutes anyway. I grabbed the knife again just in case. When I go to him I felt his pulse, it was still beating, and he was still breathing. I couldn't have him come back to kill me, so I stabbed it more and more until, nothing was left for him to breathe off of.

I lay back down in the bed getting ready to sleep in the dark surroundings. When I finally realize, I just killed what could've been the last of humanity. I felt instant regret but I knew that I didn't really have any other choice.

All I know now is that soon I will go travelling more into the greens, and see if he was my only chance. Because maybe there is more, maybe he wasn't a big deal.

I guess I'll figure it out a while from now. Hopefully sooner than later, of course. And from that I fell asleep, on the bed, of the man I murdered.
