I sound like such a nerd, being so excited to hangout with the guys. Today is the day and I can't contain my excitement. I have spent my entire life wanting to have something like this, a friendship like this.

It's officially the weekend and I feel like I have so much I have to do.
Do I wear makeup? Ew gross but maybe.

I mean I shouldn't dress up to impress them because they already see me how I am when I'm at school.

I just have to he authentically myself. I got this.

I decided not to wear makeup but put on some moisturizer and brush my eyebrow hairs. I decided that I was gonna wear my black parachute pants and a tight white cropped top with my combat boots.

Needless to say I looked so hot and felt like a bad bitch. I don't have too high of confidence but I couldn't help but love how I was looking right now.

Miles decided he wanted to pick me up and then we would pick up Alex afterwards.

Not gonna lie, pretty nervous being alone with Miles. I mean who wouldn't. He's very attractive and has a good heart and he smells very good but I wasn't going to tell him that and boost his ego more.

As I let my thoughts wander, I hear him pull up to the house. I started to panic in all honesty.

"Okay Miles is here. Bye mom I love you!" I say as I am running around finding my shoes and jacket. As I head for the front door, I heard a faint "be safe" from my mom sleeping on the couch.

"Okay okay be cool, you got this. Nothing to worry about," I said to myself in a whisper to calm myself down.

As I open the front door, I smack into Miles' chest as he was about to knock on the door.
We both fell as I land on top of him. My hands on top of his muscular chest.

" Oh my God I'm so sorry. Are you okay?" I say trying to play it cool, when I know the blush on my face is very prominent.

" Alyx you really do sweep guys off their feet huh?" He said giggling and standing up while wiping the dirt off his pants.

" God I'm so sorry, I thought you were gonna stay in your car," I told him while I do a physical face palm. Why am I so embarrassing ?

He laughed at me and started walking to his car, with me trailing behind.

When we got to his car, I realized it was a Jeep and a fancy one at that. It made me wonder what his parents were like and their finances to be able to afford this car, but I didn't ask.

As I sat in the front seat and buckled up, Miles started a playlist and let me chose a song to listen to. 

As I scroll through his playlist, I am pretty impressed. Other than the fact that he is basically me but a guy, I didn't expect our music taste to be so similar. I should've known. 

We are just quietly singing to the music when he turned the music down. And my heart just started beating crazy.

" Hey Alyx I just need to say this before the other Alex gets here" he told me giving me quick glances from me, to the road as he continues to drive.

" Oh, Um, yeah go for it" I said trying to avoid looking at him.

"I really appreciate our friendship and I think you are a beautiful and amazing person. But maybe next time, it could just be us going out" he said with a slight blush to his face.

" And you know Alex is cool and all, but I figured when I brought bowling up, it was more intended just for you. He kind of invited himself, I guess," he told me, clearing up what he meant.

"Oh, like as friends hanging out or...?" I asked being cut off by my phone ringing loudly in my lap. 

I stopped talking and saw Alex was calling me and I shyly excused myself from my current conversation, to pick up the phone.

" Hey, A! We are on the way to pick you up right now! We are about 15 minutes away" I told him, before he could even say anything.

" Thank god, gorgeous I thought Miles had kidnapped you and leave me here starving to death!"

" Wow thanks for the trust in Miles, and it seems your concern is more about you eating, not even me" I laughed hard through the phone as Miles raised one of his eyebrows in my direction and smirked at me. 

" Okay see you soon, beautiful," he said cheery.

"Bye Alex" I said shaking my head. He is always complimenting me. Such a strange guy.
