Moss Pt 1 (A Hollow Knight Fan Fiction Original Character Series)

Chapter 1

Dark. So dark. I could barely even see the countless others like me trying their hardest to make it to the top and out of this barren Chamber. The masks of others who tried but failed littered the ground like dirt in a cave. I just came into this world. Knowing nothing about if I had tried before but died or if i was new and never seen before. I picked up one of the masks on the ground and put it on as my body morphed to fit the shape. I started on the way up. I saw many others falling to their absolute deaths. I kept jumping and climbing my way to the top. I finally got to the top I saw someone with a lot of spikes on their head. He came towards me. He said,"Are you Hollow?" I replied with,"What does that mean?" He then explained to me that being Hollow means to not have feelings. After he explained what Hollow meant I said,"I do have feelings for the souls that keep falling down the cliff,I also have feelings for you because I feel that if I have made it to the top then you would be-." He started pushing me towards the cliff edge. "Wait, W ha, What are you doing!?" He then replied,"You need to be hollow which you are not." "You're going to push me off the cliff even though I tried so hard!" I screamed furiously. "PK! Don't!",a female voice said."What do you want Hornet?" "I want him to stay up here.", Hornet said. "What do you see something such as your apprentice?", Pk questioned."Yes" "Who are you ,and why did you save me?" She then explained that she is Hornet and she is a daughter of the Pale King. She said that when she heard my scream she could tell it was determination which is why she saved me. I asked her what an apprentice was and she said it is someone who helps you on journeys. She told me I had to get a nail which is the traditional weapon. She also started to train me in her language and her fighting style. After just a few days I was surpassing her!I am done with training. Now i have my own area called Shadow Pass. It runs from Green-path down to deep-nest. On the way I came across a tik-tik. It happily followed me so it is now my pet. Anyways that is what happened today and now I have a meting with the Pale King. Hope it goes well...

"Moss, um this is a little scary even for me... you've been SUMMONED" No no no no no no no! I have never been summoned to the king aka my step father since he hates me so much!!! *jumps out of the palace and runs away* Moss i'm coming with,Hornet said. Ok but no telling on me and I won't tell on you. Quick! The hidden Station! we will take it to greenpath! Ok.*A short while later...* Ok we are here im going to go for a walk to go see Quirrel. K. *a short while later* Hey Quirrel! Hi. Well its been a while! yeh,anyways...why did you run away! *moss facepalms* How did you know! well lets just say i know things. ok,well,I,gotta go.*Stutters* Then I went to pale king and he said I had to prove my strength by beating the Trials with no bench or charms and I couldn't heal in between or during. I cleared through and only got hit once by a fucking BALDUR!!!! It spawned on me and anyways I want to go exploring now.

Moss: POV

The person spun around with his nail in hand. Moss: JEEZ I DID NOT MEAN TO SCARE YOU LIKE THAT!

Moss Pov

Okay i am sorry for scaring you I am not going to hurt you!(bruh he has good surround sense got to give him that. I grabbed him and took him out of blue lake and came across the sentinel husk. He squirmed and got out of my grasp like he was scared or something so I ran back with him. What was that For! I yelled. He pointed to me and his nail. Oh i get it he needs his nail and he doesn't know me I am moss from greenpath. Ring any bells? he nods no. *Internal crying*

Ok and what is your name and I am sorry for scaring you and not getting to know you.*Blushes a bit* He explains his name and I figured he couldn't talk so I grabbed him and this time he let me and we went to the Palace.
