Chapter 5

Nurse: Sir... Sir... Wake up!

The nurse gently shakes rocky to wake him up. Rocky slowly opens his eyes and says..

Rocky: Heeyyy...Where's my Dactar, sister?

Nurse: She finished up and left for the day

Rocky: Oh... She'll come back tomorrow?

Nurse: Aaaah? Why? You also broke your hand aa?

Rocky pulls out a wad of cash and stretches his arms, resting it on the chairs beside him while placing one leg over the other.

Nurse: Ayooo brother..don't worry, where will she go? she'll come back no.

Rocky: Hmm.. and..?

Nurse: Her engagement is next month. She doesn't like him but her dad told her that it's the only way he will give her the money to run this place.

Rocky while putting back the cash inside his jacket says

Rocky: You're not telling anything that I don't already know

Nurse: *stops his hand from putting the money in* But but but.... I think she is interested in you.

Rocky: *leans forward* Keep talking

Nurse: Before she left for the day, she saw you sleeping on the chair and asked me to direct the fan towards you. And the took her shawl to cover you with it. She asked me to remove the shawl and wake you up after she leaves.

Rocky smirks. Tiny things that Reena did, felt really good. After his mother, Reena is the only other person to care for him. Regardless of how  much he irritated her, she couldn't be anything but sweet to him.

He puts a cigarette in his mouth and throws the cash at the nurse. He asks,

Rocky: When will she come tomorrow?

Nurse: *Counting the cash* She won't come in tomorrow. She's hosting a medical camp in Chikmagalur, a village on the outskirts of Bangalore.

Rocky slowly nodes his head and gets up. Before leaving he asks the nurse to bring his Reena's shawl. The nurse quickly runs inside to get the shawl. While she walks back, the rowdies come out from the other room.

Rowdy #3: Thanks for hospitalizing us Anna. From now on we will only be upright citizens of this bad society.

Rocky: Stealing money is not wrong thambi... Trying to steal money from Rocky is the issue. So byoys, I hoping you learned a valuable lesson.

Rowdy #3: *bowing down* Great lesson we learnt. Now we'll leave.

Nurse: *hands over the shawl* wait a minute. Dr. Reena asked the rowdies to leave only after paying up for the treatment!

Rowdy #3: Sister.. Isn't this a non profit?

Nurse: Dr. said it's non profit only if the bones broke accidentally.

Rowdy #3: Oh.... How much sister?

Nurse: Oonly Rs. 80/- brether

Rowdy #3: Haaaaaaw! Ey nurse amma!! What is this??? Is this a hospital or some scam organization? Does that doctor have any sense...

Rocky: Reeey!

Rowdy #3: *Scratching his head* Uffff... Sorry Anna. I just didn't know we'll be learning such expensive lessons tonight. If we had that much money, why would we stop you?

Rocky: Ey nurse, use the money I gave you to cover the bill.

Rocky says so as he walk out. He catches a cab and goes back to the hotel to doze off.

Knock knock knock

Rocky: Who the hell is it, knocking on my door this early in the morning

Knock knock!

Rocky: Arey Ohh!

He gets up, grabs the gun and opens the door. It is Andrews.

Andrews: I am going to Chennai for a few days. I thought I'll leave Daya with you. He'll take care of all your needs.

Rocky: Acha? My back hurts, will he come in and give me a massage

Daya: Rey!! This is too much

Andrew: Mmm Daya stop. Rocky, just focus on the mission. Here is a pager. Daya's number is saved here. You can use it to communicate with us.

Rocky: *Closing the door* Super, now leave.

Rocky: *swiftly opening the door* Wait, I need some cash.

Andrews: Daya, how much ever it is, give it to him.

Rocky: And a bike

Andrews: *Turns to Daya* give whatever he wants.

Rocky: Thanks, ta-ta, and happy jourrrrney Andrews saar!

Rocky closes the door and falls on the bed. He is instantly reminded of Reena and gets up to get ready.
