Not your typical love story ~ Sonamy

"Give me an E!"Amy yelled to the crowd.
"E!" They chanted back
"Give me an A!"
"A!"
"Give me a G!"
"G!"
"Give me a L!"
"L!"
"Give me a E!"
"E!"
"Give me a S!"
"S!"

"Ea-gles!Ea-gles!" She chanted shaking her pom poms.
"Lets go Ea-gles !" They slammed their feet against the  bleachers,clapping their at the end 5 times to the beat.

She waited for the principal to give her a signal to start. She saw him nod his head. And she looked back at the cheer squad taking their places. "1 ,2, 3,4!"

Amy backflipped back , before jumping and the catchers catching her safely , before throwing her once more , tripping at the fast movement, but blaze catching her and softly pushing her up so she could frontflipped forwards landing in her feet, in the ground.
She did some cheers the squad following her moves . Behind her they picked up 2 flyers, throwing them in the air.

By the time they finished the crowd went wild. Amy caught a glance from sonic behind the bleachers waiting for his dramatic entrance. She smiled and waved at him, and he smirked , shadow smacking his head. Sonic disappeared behind the bleachers and amy walked towards the bleachers .

"That was great Amy!" Blaze said.
"You were great too! You're a awesome catcher, I was gonna fall but you caught me as if it was part of the routine"

"Well yea, you said and I quote 'If we fall just stand up and smile , pretend like nothing happened.' "
"I'm so glad you remembered " she said jugging down her water bottle.
"And now ... The Eagles football team!" A person said through the speaker.

As usual , the star quarterback was in front followed by shadow, knuckles, espio, and the rest.
Sonic football securely in his hand , ran all the way to the middle of the football field .

The other team , 'The Cheetahs',ran in , with their star quarterback shooting daggers at sonic. Sonic just smirked, in other words saying ' You're in our home, and you're going down.'
Next walked in their stuck-up cheerleaders. They were wearing short orange cheer suits with black spots splashed in some places , 'Cheetahs' splashed in the middle . They walked to the opposite side of the field.

First game of the season. The football players got in their positions. "Ready? Hut!!"
Knuckles blocked a football player from the other team, smashing him against his body, away from stealing the ball.

Espio caught the ball , the defence from the other team charging at him at full speed. He made a spin , and passed the football towards sonic who caught it safely in his hands. Making sharp turns he avoided every defence that came his way easily. They lounged at him, missing every time . Sonic ran in and made a touchdown, smashing the basketball against the grass. The crowd went wild , with the enemies crowd went crazy and desperate in just the few seconds of the game. The score changed into Home : 1 and 0 for Visitors.

The girls stood up and made their way in the sidelines to cheer on. "Lets go eagles! Lets go eagles!" The crowd cheered on . The other teams cheerleaders got up and cheered on. "Cheetas! Cheetahs! Up and about, takle that ball!" The Cheetahs cheer captian shot daggers at amy.
"Ready? Hut!!" The other teams quarterback  had the ball. But not for long , shadow came and tackled him down before he made it to a touch down. "Not today big boy" he patted his back as he got up.
"Sprint,block, catch that ball! Show them what you got! We got skill , a bunch of skill. This is our house, you're going down! Tackle, pass it, sprint it , score it! Tackle, Pass it, Sprint It , Score it! TACKLE , PASS IT, SPRINT IT, SCORE IT! Touch down touch down all night long!"

The game was over 98 to 0 .
"Eagles is the best! We'll crush you till the end! There isnt one like us, you got that now! We're  EAGLES ..
Simplyyy .."they shook their pom poms starting from the bottom of their feet all the way to their head, carrying amy in the middle"the best " she put her pom poms on her hips , smiling every second. The Cheetahs left in rage, not looking back.

The bleachers were emptying every second. The other team in rage. Sonic made his way towards Amy, ruffling  her hair.

"Oh hey sonic."she chirped , as she got her gym bag. "Isnt that a bit heavy?" He asked as he took the bag away from her hands. "No its ok, and wouldn't your girlfriend sally get mad if she sees you with me?" She asked.

"No.. she didnt even bother to come" he growled. "Or-"
"Hey rose" shadow said hugging her from behind. "Hey shadow!" She said as she turned around and hugged him. Sonic crossed his arms and cleared his throat."Oh.. yea sorry.. um well maybe she was just busy"amy said.  "Like always"he mumbled.

"Well maybe she just has a busy schedule " amy stated, but the truth is she couldnt stand Sally Acorn, she was always getting on her nerves.

"Well this is it for me " shadow said,"see you in school rose" he said as he hugged her. He let go after a few seconds , he was about to leave when he said "oh and bye sonic" He said before speeding towards his house. Amy and sonic walked slowly towards their houses. "So you guys dating or somethin'?" Sonic asked breaking the silence.

"Um.. well.. not exactly " she smiled looking up at him. "Why you ask?" "Just"he replied as he shrugged.
"Oh ok"she said as she looked away .

He walked her all the way to her house , and she gave him a hug,"Just doing a favor, I dont want you to get raped"he teased. "Thats what best friends are for.."Amy sadly replied  ."Yes 'best friends' " he sadly said . "Well.. i got to go"she said as she closed the door.
"Best friends"he whispered, before he sped of to his house .

Those words ringed in his ears, and he was still trying to figure out why he was so disappointed.
