"Last time on Total Drama Revenge of the Island. Twelve bumbling buffoons battled it out in a brutal buffet of bombastica." Chris chuckled. "Why all the B words? Because B proved he was a brave and brilliant improviser who scored big time for his team until his bitter teammate Scott fudged it on purpose and B got the boot while Scott got the broad."
He lit a candle as he stood under the moonlight shining over the dock. "And now, tonight's challenge is about fear. And everyone know fear is a dish best served... in the dark!" He cackled until Chef showed up in a sexy peacock outfit. "Cheeeef!" He whined; upset he wasn't wearing something spooky.
"Wardrobe was all outta vampire costumes." The large man shrugged.
The host huffed and went back to opening the episode. "It's all scary, other than that. Right here, right now, on Total Drama Revenge of the Island!" He growled the last part in his best scary voice which sounded a lot more like a drunk old pirate.

Della slept soundly on the top bunk snoring softly with her blankets bundled up in a pile at her feet and limbs stretched out across her mattress. She was getting used to sleeping in the summer night's heat with no ac, but it didn't stop her from waking up with a wet brow and her shirt clinging to her collar.
"What's that, little one? Evil is lurking? " Dawn whispered at a firefly hovering near her ear. "Let me guess... Chris?"
A horn went off, startling Della awake. She sat up in a panic looking around frantically as she scrambled to get out of bed. Her blankets tangled around her legs, and she flailed landing on the ground with a loud thud.
"Run!" Chris screamed prompting the campers to get out of bed. "Run for your lives!"
They ran out of their cabins frantic and gathered around the host and Dakota, who stood beside him in an intern uniform, blasting an air horn while Chris wore earmuffs. It was still dark out. Very dark.
"Thanks, intern!" He grinned once the horn stopped and took off his earmuffs.
"Huh!?" Dakota asked, her hearing temporarily impaired from the noise.
*STATIC*
Dakota huffed. "So, after Chris agreed to let me stay, he put a restraining order on the paparazzi! So now I'm stuck here for no. reason." She whined in dismay. "And now he's making me, like, work! So not cool."
*STATIC*
"Hi, Dakota!" Sam waved at the girl.
"Huh? Speak up!" She tried to clean out her ear to help her hearing. Chef came over with a chart on wheels and shoved her out of the way with it.
"Challenge time!" Chris sang.
"What? Now? In the middle of the night?" Fretted Brick. "When it's all, you know, dark?"
Jo made a face beside him. He couldn't be serious.
*STATIC*
"Ever since I was born, I hated the dark." Brick admitted. "W-with the creaks and the, 'Who's that?', a-and the, 'Get away!'" Suddenly the lights in the outhouse flickered out and the cadet screamed into the darkness before a faint tinkling sound could be heard.
*STATIC*
"Your challenge, a scavenger hunt for three creepy souvenirs. Your location: A haunted forest, a scary pet cemetery, and an extra spook-tastic cave." Chris explained. "First team to each location gets a special clue but watch out for booby traps, I really went to town with them!" He chuckled. "So, move fast and stick together. You'll be penalized for each player you lose."
