Chapter 18

I woke up to a dark place.

It was just(in Bieber) like Inazuma but..

It was dark, the place was destroyed into floating islands as the rest were either in the ocean, gone, or floating against the calm sea.

Looking around the doomed Inazuma.

Something else caught my attention, purple lightning striking as people screamed in pain.

I ran. As fast as I could.

I was now on a hill that was stable enough for me to look at.. Ei?

Jumping off the hill, landing safely on the ground.

"Ei!" I yelled as I moved closer to her only for her to look at me with hatred..

"Ei?" I said concerned only to be met with her eyes piercing into my soul, lightning had strucked multiple times around us "What's happening?" I mumbled "You are a.. enemy to enternity. Enemies must suffer the consequences, no one will ever escape, making them suffer the way that I had suffered that day." Ei stated raising her voice everytime she said a word, as it was also filled with venom.

"I'm not an enemy Ei!" "Silence! It's the Raiden Shogun for you, mere mortal!" She stated as I began to be confused, I wasn't a mortal, I've been here almost since Morax came.

Lightning struck closer and closer to me until it striked on me, though it was more painful than I remembered, did I lose my immortality?

I woke up panting, Yae shaking my body with a concerned face "Y/n are you okay? You've been sweating and panting." Yae says as I sat up against the headboard.

"I-I'm fine, really." I replied to her question, atleast her expression changed a little.

"I have to go back to the shrine, is that okay?" Yae asked "Of course, you dont have to ask permission though." I laughed as she chuckled.

Yae got up from the bed and gave my forehead a kiss before leaving my house.

I also got up after a few minutes passed and headed to the kitchen, I cooked breakfast for myself and ate it after that I headed to my bathroom and showered, got dressed, then headed for my commissions.

Timeskip

After my commissions, I went back to my house since it was already night, but I finished all my commissions in 12 minutes, the samurais were so weak and easy to kill. I sat on my couch, bored out of my mind.

I should've to atleast try to make the commissions longer, I sighed as my stomache grumbled.

I took that as a sign to cook for dinner now, I headed to the kitchen and grabbed some ingredients to cook mixed yakisoba and tri-flavored skewers plus some sweet shrimp sushi.

After I cooked it all, a knock from the door caught my attention while I was putting the food on the table, I walked over to the door grabbing my weapon just incase, opening the door cautiously.

"Ei?" I said questioning why she was here "Can I come in?" Ei asked as I nodded.

We both walked to the kitchen while I made my weapon disappear into thin air.

"Sorry for interrupting your evening but can I stay here for a few days? It's just some complicated-" "Sure." I cut her off and she went straight into the bedroom while I stayed in the kitchen eating.

After I finished, I entered my room, seeing Ei.

Sound asleep, my bed's covers embracing her body lightly. I went to my closet to change and after that I sat against my headboard and read a book to sleep.
