Chapter 3

After lunch I had one more class with my "boyfriend".

Geez. I hate that word. It jus really sticks to your soul.

My last class of the day was English and then study hall.

Maybe I should join something so I won't have to sit in the boring class. But it does have a nice view.

"Andy," Aiden turns me around. "Let me walk you to your next class."

"No no," I objected. "I know where everything is. I've been here long enough." Okay, now that was harsh.

"I know you do," he smiled. "But since we have English together, I thought I would walk you."

I rolled my eyes under my bangs so he wouldn't see. Why would he even WANT to walk me to class? "Oh," I said, "okay, I guess."

"Great!" he exclaimed. He grabbed my arm.

Awkward...

****

School was such a blur I could barely remember anything.

All I remember was going on the bus.

After school, Aiden walked me to the bus since we leave close to eachother.

He offered me to sit by the window so he could sit by me.

"Great day huh," he started a conversation.

All I did was nod and smile. I wasn't really up for talking today. All I wanted to do was go home, finish my homework, and watch some youtube.

"Honey," Aiden frowned and grabbed my chin so I would look at him. "What's wrong?"

I push away his hand. "I don't know what you're talking about. I'm perfectly fine." It wasn't completely a lie. I was fine but at the same time I wasn't.

"Aww," he grinned. "You're so cute!" He leaned in to kiss me.

"Whooaa there Mr. Player," I said. Oops. I said Mr. Player.

" 'Mr. Player'?" he questioned. "Who's that?"

"Uhh," I tried to cover up. "He's-uhh- my imaginary friend..?" I smiled and it felt like I was blushing.

"Aww," he teased. "Well, I don't wanna see him around anymore. You tell him that. Right now." His face got inches to mine.

I turned around to the window. "Mr. Player, we can't hang out anymore." I turned back around and smiled. "I'll call ya later," I whispered to 'Mr. Player'.

"Good," Aiden seemed proud. Why? I have no idea.

The bus stopped. Finally at my stop!

"Lemme walk you home," Aiden said once we got off the bus. He lives in my street a couple houses away.

No wonder....

"Nah," I said. "I think I can find my way."

Aiden chuckled. "Of course you can but I want you to safe." Safe my butt!

****

“Thanks for,” I started. I wanted to say ‘nothing’ but I’m not rude..sometimes. “Thanks for walking me home!” I rolled my eyes in my mind.

“Anytime,” Aiden smiled. I just realized, he smiles a lot. What is he planning?

I smile back. One of my fake-but-believable smiles. I grab my key out of my pocket.

“Andy wait,” I turn around.

He smashes his freakin’ lips on mine. I’ll kill him later. Might as well “ enjoy” the moment.

He lets me go after a couple minutes. He smiled again. I wearily smile.

I really wish that wasn’t my first kiss… but it was.

“Good huh,” Aiden seemed confident.

“Uh- huh,” I said. Perfect… “Well, I gotta go.”

“Call me later!” no.

I run upstairs to my room to recap what just happened.

First: He had me sit by him on the bus.

Second: He walked me home.

Third: He kissed me.

What kind of day after school is this?!
