The heterochromic duelist (Adopted)

Prologue

Yuya was crying in his room again as memories of all that had happened that day came. Other kids in his school had called him a coward and had bullied him all day. His mother had tried to comfort him but it was all in vain.

Suddenly Yuya's pendent began glowing as does Odd-eyes. Yuya hears a voice.

???: "Don't cry, I am here for you."

Yuya stopped crying and looked around trying to find where this voice had come from.

???: "We are partners after all."

Yuya was confused till he saw his deck glowing. He picks his deck up and pulls out a card that has been the cause of the glowing, his Odd-eyes dragon.

Yuya: "Odd-eyes?"

Odd-eyes: "Yeah, you want to get stronger and stand up to your bullies right?"

Yuya: "Yeah, but how can I do that?"

Odd-eyes: "I'll help you."

Yuya pendant started glowing brighter as Yuya covered his eyes. When the glow fades and Yuya uncovers his eyes he see new cards all over his bed. They all looked like Odd-eyes but each different. He also noticed that they all fit different summoning methods.

Yuya: "Thank you so much Odd-eyes."

Odd-eyes: "Of course, your my partner after all."

Yuya continued looking through the new cards and noticed some of them had a green lower half.

Yuya: "What are these cards?"

Odd-eyes: "A new power, pendulum cards. And your going to be the first person to use them."

Yuya smiled fondly and start constructing a deck with all of his new cards.

-The next day-

-Yusho duel school-

Gong: "Come on Yuya, Gong is ready to duel."

Yuya: "Be careful what you wish for, because today I am going to win."

Everyone noticed that Yuya seemed more energetic and happy. Something must have happened last night. Yoko had come to the school to see how Yuya was, as she noticed he was talking to his Odd-eyes a lot more sense last night.

Yuya and Gong activate their duel disks.

Yuya: "I'll start by summoning performapal hip hippo in attack mode, and I'll set one card face down and end my turn."

Everyone expected Yuya to start moving for action cards but we're surprised to see him standing in place.

Gong drew his card.

Gong: "Gong summons superheavy samurai Kabuto in attack mode, and it attacks your hippo."

Yuya: "I activate the trap card, half unbreak. My hippo's destruction is negated and I take half the damage."

Yuya LP: 4000 >>> 3900

Gong: "Well Gong will end his turn here."

Yuya: "Alright, here I come Gong, I draw! I summon performapal skullcrobat jocker in attack mode and activate it's effect, allowing me to add odd-eyes wizard dragon to my hand."

Everyone was confused when they heard the name, as they thought Yuya only had Odd-eyes dragon.

Yuya: "I activate my dragons effect! Sacrificing my Jocker and sending one odd-eyes dragon to the graveyard and summon Odd-eyes wizard dragon to the field!"

Everyone was memorized as Yuya's new dragon appeared on the field.

Yuya: "Odd-eyes, attack Kabuto!"

Odd-eyes fires a blast at Kabuto, destroying it.

Gong LP: 4000 >>> 2500

Yuya: "Now my hippo attacks you directly Gong."

Gong LP: 2500 >>> 1700

Yuya: "I'll end my turn."

Gong: "Then it is Gong's turn. Gong draws! Gong summons superheavy samurai Swordsman in Attack mode, and it's effect changes it into defense mode. Now swordman attacks Odd-eyes and swordsman's effect makes Odd-eyes attack zero!"

Everyone watched as odd-eyes was destroyed but Yuya didn't seem fazed.

Yuya LP: 3900 >>> 2100

Gong: "Gong ends his turn."

Yuya started smiling as he places his hand on his deck

Yuya: "Get ready Gong, I am pulling out all the stops! I draw!"

Yuya pulls out his card and smiles at it.

Yuya: "I activate the spell card Odd-eyes fusion!"

This caught everyone's attention as they didn't know Yuya could fusion summon.

Yuya: "I fuse together the Odd-eyes persona dragon and the Odd-eyes mirage dragon I have in my hand! Dragons of discromatic eyes, fuse together to become a wild storm! I fusion summon, Odd-eyes vortex dragon!"

Another new odd-eyes appears on the field again surprising everyone with it's beauty.

Yuya: "It's effect activates, sending your Swordsman back to your hand."

Odd-eyes sends a wave of wind at Swordsman as it's blown into Gong's hand.

Yuya: "Now Odd-eyes, attack Gong directly!"

The dragon sends another blast of wind at Gong that hits him directly.

Gong LP: 1700 >>> 0

Just before the solid vision turned off, Odd-eyes move to Yuya and nuzzles him affectionately. Every comes over to Yuya asking him where he had gotten his new cards, but Yuya wouldn't tell them, he would only say that he got them from a close friend.
