Chapter 3

-School-

Yuya had been in class bored as he had been thinking about his reveal on pendulum summoning, and he knew someone was going to want to take it for themselves. Yuya had a plan for this in case it happens to.

Yuya walks out the classroom and someone bumps into him.

???: "Sorry about that."

Yuya: "It's cool."

???: "Oh, I know you, your Yuya Sakaki. My name is Silvio. I was wondering if you'd be willing to show me and my friends your pendulum summoning."

Yuya could tell this was a trap and decided to spring it.

Yuya: "Sure, where and when?"

Silvio: "Come to the Leo duel school, we will use the duel arena there."

Yuya: "Alright, see you there."

-After school-

-Leo duel school-

Yuya had come alone as he knew Yuzu and the others could be at risk with how sketchy this was. Yuya walks over to Silvio.

Yuya: "Alright, so what first?"

Silvio: "Well could you show us the cards you use to pendulum summon with?"

Yuya reaches into his deck and pulls out Dragonpit and Dragon pulse magician as Silvio snatches them away. Yuya wasn't surprised.

Silvio: "Thanks for my new pendulum cards, I can't wait to use them."

Yuya: "You do know those aren't the only pendulum cards I own right?"

Silvio and his goons freeze.

Silvio: "What do you mean?"

Yuya: "My deck is full of pendulum cards, and I can still pendulum summon with a lot of them."

Silvio growls, this kid had dupped him. He wouldn't stand for this.

Silvio: "Fine! We will duel and the winner gets the loser's pendulum cards!"

Yuya smirks, he had caught Silvio with his bait.

Yuya: "Deal."

The arc reactor turns on as a giant city appears.

Yuya: "I'll start by summoning my performapal skullcrobat joker, it's effect allows me to add any Magician, Performapal, it odd-eyes monster to my hand, I add Odd-eyes arc pendulum dragon to my hand."

Yuya pulls a card out of his deck.

Yuya: "Also, I think this field it to bland, so I activate the field spell Sky Iris!"

Once the spell it played the area around them become a white flare field with a rainbow around them. You could also see all the Odd-eyes Dragons in the sky, however some of them were just silhouettes.

Yuya: "And now I set the pendulum scale with scale 4 odd-eyes pendulum dragon and scale 8 odd-eyes arc pendulum dragon."

The two dragons appear and float into the air.

Yuya: "I end my turn, activating odd-eyes pendulum dragons effect, destroying itself and allowing me to add a monster with 1500 or less attack points to my hand, I add Odd-eyes persona dragon."

Yuya grabs a card that pops out his deck.

Yuya: "Next, arc pendulum dragon's effect activates, because odd-eyes pendulum dragon was destroyed, I can special summon a new odd-eyes, and I'll summon Odd-eyes phantom dragon!"

A new dragon appears on the field as one of the silhouettes becomes odd-eyes phantom dragon. Silvio was shocked, he didn't expect Yuya to summon something so strong so quick.

Silvio draws and smirks at the card he drew.

Silvio: "Alright, first I summon lightning hoverboard, but he won't be here long as I use tribute trade, sacrificing my hoverboard and adding dragonpit magician to my hand. I now set the pendulum scale with scale 1 dragonpulse magician, and scale 8 dragonpit magician! I pendulum summon!"

Three monsters appear on the field.

Silvio: "I summon my power dart striker, my rocket dart striker, and my ultimate dart striker. My ultimate dart striker attacks your skullcrobat jocer."

Ultimate dart striker fires a dart at joker and destroys it.

Yuya LP: 4000 >>> 3300

Silvio: "I end my turn."

Yuya draws a card and smiles at the draw.

Yuya: "It would seem another dragon wants to come out and play, however I must activate my field spell to destroy my phantom dragon."

A bolt of lightning hits odd-eyes phantom dragon and destroys it.

Yuya: "I'll now add the ritual spell odd-eyes advent to my hand! And odd-eyes arc pendulum dragon allows me to summon my Odd-eyes mirage dragon to the field from my deck."

Two cards pop out Yuya's deck, he adds one to the hand and places the other on the field.

Yuya: "Now I set scale 1 odd-eyes persona dragon into my pendulum zone. I pendulum summon my Odd-eyes pendulum and phantom dragons from my extra deck!"

The two dragons appear again.

Yuya: "Now I activate the ritual spell odd-eyes advent, I sacrifice my pendulum dragon to ritual summon. Dragon of heterochromic eyes, come down from space and show us your power of gravity, I ritual summon Odd-eyes gravity dragon!"

As soon as the new dragon appeared, another silhouette changed to show the dragon.

Yuya: "My dragon's effect activates! All your spell and trap cards are returned to your hand!"

The cards in the pendulum zone disappeared.

Silvio: "Hey! Why did my pendulum cards get sent away!?"

Yuya: "Simple, pendulum cards in the pendulum zone count as spell cards. Now odd-eyes gravity dragon attacks your power dart striker."

Silvio: "I activate the action spell evasion, negating the attack."

Yuya: "Odd-eyes gravity dragons effect activates, you lose 500 life points everytime you activate an effect!"

Silvio LP: 4000 >>> 3500

Yuya: "Now Odd-eyes phantom dragon attacks your power dart striker!"

The dragon charges and fires a blast at the monster, destroying it.

Silvio LP: 3500 >>> 2800

Yuya: "And now odd-eyes phantom dragon's effect activates, you take 1200 points of damage for each odd-eyes card in my pendulum zones!"

Silvio LP: 2800 >>> 400

Silvio grunts as he is blasted into the ground.

Yuya: "And now I activate the action spell, wonder chance, allowing odd-eyes gravity dragon to attack again! Go, attack his rocket dart striker!"

Odd-eyes gravity dragon breaths in and fires a blast the monster, destroying it.

Silvio: 400 >>> 0

The field fades as Yuya walks over to the fallen Silvio and takes his pendulum cards back. As he was leaving Silvio's goons tried to stop him, only for a kid with blue hair to take them all down. The kid asked about Yuya being his teacher.

Yuya: "First, I don't know what your name is. Second, I only teach to those who are a part of the Yusho duel school."

???: "Alright, well I am Sora and I'll join your duel school as soon as possible!"

Yuya watches as the kids runs away and decides to head home, today was to much for him.
