Chapter 4 - Tragedy Happen

Hang Zheng could understand how everyone feels since that he was just as shock as everyone was. It has hard fo him to see with his own eyes, his oldest daughter in front of him, not there as a witness to the people that were part of it but she was one of them. "People, people please calm down! I understand how everyone must be feeling but please let me finish speaking first. As you all are here present I would like to inform that the despicable people that would commit such hideous act are indeed the ones right in front of me. And this includes my daughter Zheng Li."

This time there was no way to stop the shock. The daughter of the leaders was one of the people involved? How? Why? Are them completely sure? Everyone thought in that room.

"After weeks of watching every move, speaking with different people and having checks done I can confirm that this 5 individuals in front of me had gone as far as to try and commit murder. We know that they did not work alone, but together. What hurts me the most to admit is the fact that all was planned by my eldest daughter Zheng Ling over what we can assume is jealousy. Before both me and my Wife decide what to do with every single person I would like for Zheng Ling to stand up and explain to the whole Clan why she would go as far to make this despicable act to her own family."

Zheng Ling was fuming. When she woken up this morning the last thing she expected was for her parents to find out everything that she had done. And to make things worse they knew that she was involved in it. She looked up at her parents and my thoughts were crossing her mind. What could she do to stop her from getting into more trouble? Suddenly a thought crossed her mind.

"Father, mother and members of the Clan. I did not do none of the things I been accused of. I would never dare to hurt anyone of my family especially my sister Naixin. I love her so much as well as the baby. I would never do any harm to anyone! Why would I do it? Please father believe me! There will be no reason for me to do such a thing. There is got to be an explanation for it. Someone is trying to frame me." She looked desperate towards her father and mother hoping that they would feel sorry for her.

"So you are telling me that someone got something against you and you are not the blame?" He asked her. She did not realised Guo walking towards her own parents. The moment her eyes came in contact with him she thought that she could use him to try and get away from this situation. "Guo please explain to my parents. I would never do anything to hurt my sister. Please explain how many times I tried to go and help my sister. How many times I was there for her. Trying to feed her, help with the cleaning."

Guo just looked at her. 'Is she for real. Is she really trying this?' He thought. "You are asking me?" He said pointing at himself. "You got to be kidding me right? All I can remember is your presence in the room but not doing anything other than stare at Naixin. At what point did you try to help her besides trying to put poison in her food and hoping she would take it?"

Zheng Ling was taken aback by the shock of Guo words. "I did not do that. Why no one believes me?" Zheng Ling saying while holding her chest.

"You jealousy over Guo and the fact that he is now happily married to Naixin and expecting a baby would be more than enough to cause you to commit this horrible crimes." Hang Zheng says to his daughter.

Zheng Ling could see that she would not be able to count of Guo either to save her. The more she tried to convince them the more it would be turn against her. She needed to think of something fast. It was now or never. She did not want to be shammed in front of all this people but what can she do. 'Think, think fast.'

"Oh please. Yes a month back you could have said that I was in love with you and would want you to be with me. Yes, that is true however I came to my senses and realised that I would never be able to have you for me so I decided to just follow my life and find someone else. And Guess what? I have indeed found someone worth of me and my life. I do not need you. What would I achieve by having my sister and nephew or niece killed. Can you explain that to me please? Because there is no way."
