Going back to his room to make sure that his wife was well, Guo sat by her side of the bed thinking how someone could be so evil to his own sister. Even though he had recognised the voice of the second person he never really got the chance to see who it was. But at the moment it did not matter anyway. All that he cared about now was making sure that no one would be able to get close to his wife without his approval.

Any food or medication that his wife needed would be done by him and him alone. He was not sure how many people were behind working together with his sister in law. So every care would be a priority. In his mind, he doubted that his own in laws would be working with her. They were just as concern over the fact that Naixin has been really sick and the risk of losing the baby was high. Zheng Lin has always been against her sister and never hidden the fact that she was not happy to find out that she had lost an engagement to her sister but his in laws.

They were lovely people and so far had done nothing but be supportive and loving towards both him and Naixin. He needed to watch them the next few days before making the decision if he could count on them. If they were innocent like he suspected they were, he would make sure to ask them for help dealing with Zheng Lin when the time came.

Days passed with a bit of improvement. Naixin was starting to slowly getting some strength back and was looking so much healthier than before. Guo used every excuse he could to stop people to get close to his wife. He would be the one cooking her food, making her drinks making sure that it was the right materials and ingredients used on them. Very quickly he found out that that he could trust the doctor when she approached him with the suspicious that something was wrong and that the disease could be due to not a simply pregnancy but something on the lines of poisoning.

After confirming what he had heard from Zheng Lin, the doctor done all the tests she could possibly do and indeed confirmed that Naixin was being poised and this was the reason for all the symptoms she had.

Yani the last few weeks thought that Guo was acting very strange and very protective. She did not know what to make of it but maybe it could have been due to the fact that he was very concern over his own fate mate sickness. She let is slide and gave them space but it was getting harder and harder since that she wanted to be closer to her youngest daughter and be able to help her out.

While she was walking to her daughter's room she came across the doctor that had just left the room. She decided that it would be the best opportunity to speak with the doctor and find out more about what was going on.

"How is my daughter and the baby? Guo has been acting very strange and not letting anyone get close to her but it has been a few weeks now and is getting harder and harder to stay away. What is going on?" Yani asked the doctor.

"Mam. There is nothing to worry about. My lady is getting better. Both her and the baby are now closer to get the all clear. There is nothing to worry about now... a...." The doctor hesitated to say anything else and this was noticed by Yani.

"Why do I feel that there is something that you are not telling me?" She asked the Doctor.

"My lady, there is indeed something that I been asked not to say. I'm so sorry but Mr Guo asked me to say that if you need any more information to please speak with him." The doctor once again apologised to her leaders by bowing and then leaving Yani questioning what was going on behind.

Walking back to the main hall, Yani was wondering is something more serious was going on that her son in law was not willing to tell her. He was not know to be this way. Her doubts were worst when the doctors is not willing to say what is going on either. She was so lost in her thoughts that she did not notice her husband speaking with her.
