"Ahin I'm not kidding I think I could actually outrun the car," Cali rolled her eyes, squinting at her best friend who was currently driving her car at a solid 15 miles an hour in Cali's mind.
"I am not speeding in your car, Cali," Ahin squinted back. Cali let out a dramatic sigh, spotting a gas station coming up.
"Look, I need gas," Cali pointed out, suddenly straightening herself out.
"You have half a tank-"
"Half a tank isn't full now is it?" Cali squinted, silently celebrating when Ahin turned into the gas station with a roll of her eyes.
As expected, as soon as Ahin slipped out of the car Cali hopped over to the drivers seat, effectively stealing the seat from her best friend with what could only be described as a shit eating grin.
Playful bickering filled the car as they sped their way home, obviously neither were bothered by the others actions. They found themselves finding comfort in the joking fights or the way Ahin would flick Cali randomly in an attempt to scare her while they drove, it was something so normal. So familiar.
In fact if Cali had to pick one word to describe Ahin other than 'annoying' or 'ugly' it would definitely be familiar. It was such a strange word to describe someone so close with, especially since most would use more directly complimentary words like 'funny', 'kind', 'beautiful.' Cali was aware, however to her Ahin was always familiar above all else, even when they had just met.
