"Don't do that or somebody gon see us!" I said in a stern but sexy way, as Trent smacked me on my ass.
I knew we were at he and his wife's house for their annual cookout but damn; what I would give to take him in the bathroom right now and let him fuck me crazy? He had me gone! I didn't know why he insisted on inviting me to this cookout every year, knowing how it made me feel. I had been dealing with Trent for about three years now. I knew he was married when I met him, but I just had to have him. Trent was 34 and the owner of Shark Construction, one of the DMV's top Construction Company. I met Trent when my girl Tenia and I were doing our usual sister nights at our favorite place Legal Seafood in Crystal City, VA. He was two seats down from us, looking damn good in his navy blue Armani suit. He slid in the seat next to me and said, "What are two beautiful ladies like you two doing here on a Friday night alone?"
I rolled my eyes and said, "Because this is what me and my sister do; now, do you mind?" He slid me his business card and moved back to his seat, and here we were three years later.
"Damn bitch, y'all don't mind being disrespectful," Tenia sang before sipping her drink, in her best Mila J voice.
"Please stop trying to sing sis; you know that's not your hobby. Stick to the healthcare field Dr. Chapman!" I joked to my best friend.
As we swayed through the house to get to the backyard where the cookout was going on, I always felt out of place. Trent and his wife, Stacey, always put on this big show every year like they were happy but, from what he told me, the bitch was boring as hell. I wondered how he told her that we were acquainted. I was not an average bitch. I got men and women trying to holler at me every day all day and, if they were of my liking, I'd accept the number, both men and women. Don't judge me; I liked to dab with the ladies every now and then, but they gotta look as good as me.
"Damn Cheekz, who is that? He looks good," Tenia asked me, pointing to Trent's cousin, Mekhi.
I smiled and said, "O, that's just Mekhi, Trent's cousin. He's in town for the weekend on business from Philly."
She smiled, which instantly led me to believe she was interested, saying, "Well, let me go introduce myself since you and Trent are being rude."
I shook my head at Tenia because she was always talking about how married she was but, when she saw a man covered in tats with dreads to match that "I'm married" thing went out the window. She was supposed to accompanying me because I hated coming here by myself, knowing Stacy and her bougie ass friends were probably talking about how a woman like me would never be caught working with their husband. If they only knew that I passed their husbands up on offers numerous times, just because Trent and them were colleagues. Stacy was walking up to me and I put on the best fake smile I could muster.
"Thank you for coming; you didn't have to bring anything but yourself, honey. We have more than enough drinks," Stacy said while hugging me.
"I know; you tell me every time, but it just doesn't feel right."
"Well, eat and drink up girl," Stacy said.
"You know I will." We both laughed.
I walked over to the table where Mekhi and Tenia were and sat with them. Trent came over and asked if I could step in his office so that I could view some blueprints of Tenia's office, but I already knew what time it was. As soon as we stepped foot in his office, he wasted no time pulling my dress up, squeezing my ass, and kissing me. Thank goodness my hair was in some micros or he would have messed it up. He bent me over his desk and raised one of my legs and, soon as he was about to enter me, Stacey called his name. "Trent, baby, where are you?" she asked.
He yelled out, "I'm in my office Stace!"
She came in and looked at Trent and I, as if she was trying to figure us out, but he already had the blueprint out that I drew, explaining the vision that he wanted to add to Tenia's place. I was getting Tenia her own practice as a gift to my sister because she could really use some time off or vacation with her own practice. Trent looked up at Stacey. "Wassup babe, I was showing Kaden the things I added to her blueprint for her sister's office she wants my company to do."
She came over and joined us by the desk. "O, ok. Well, go ahead, but we are supposed to be having fun, not working you know."
He looked at Stacey and said, "I'm always working babe; that's what keeps the bills paid."
She said, "Ok Trenton, whatever," while walking away.
We both looked at her and waited, as she closed the door behind her. Trent's wife was gorgeous with a nice body, so I couldn't help but wonder why he was cheating on her. I even caught myself looking at her ass, as it was shaking under her sundress when she walked out the door.
"Damn, that was close," I said to Trent. I began to walk out of his office, and he pulled me back and gave me a kiss and, from that moment, the way he kissed me and held me made me feel like things were ok. We walked back out to the backyard, and Stacy and her friends gave me the look that would have killed me right there. I laughed as I walked back over to Mekhi and Tenia. Trent looked at Mekhi and I didn't know what the look was, but Mekhi and Trent stepped off, as I grilled T to give me the tea on her and Mekhi. She told me he was down here trying to start a landscaping business. He was from Philly and looking for some new scenery. T seemed to be very intrigued by him, but I was sure he didn't tell her what he did for a living and why he was trying to leave Philly. Mekhi had a crazy ass baby mama that I would beat the breaks off of, if she ever stepped to my sister like she was crazy. I'd seen Mekhi a couple of times during one of me and Trent's many escapes away.
"So, are you gonna go out with him T?" I asked her.
She just smiled, so I know that meant she was gonna see what he was about. We stayed at the cookout for a few more hours, before T and I decided to leave. Trent walked us out to my car and we embraced in a friendly hug, while he whispered for me to be ready later tonight when he dropped past the house. I laughed and got in my 2015 coupe cocaine white Cadillac.
Tenia looked over at me and said, "You's a bold ass bitch."
I laughed and said, "I know right," while shaking my head.
I knew it was wrong of me to go to that cookout, especially with his wife being there, but a little networking never hurt, right? Call me what you want, but it was always the feeling of knowing I could have Trent anytime I wanted that had me. I never thought things would be the way they were with us but, now, it was like I couldn't stop dealing with him. I had thought on many occasions of how I'd feel had that been me in his wife's position but, then again, I didn't plan on getting married. Although I'd make an amazing wife, I just didn't like my space here and there. I like not being bothered when I was not in the mood, but like the single saying goes, "it only hits you at night."
I didn't even realize I was home until Tenia snapped me out of my trance. I be in my own little world, thinking about Trent and the way things are. Crazy how love spell that married man had me.
