***Ashlynn's POV***

"Gab..You gotta help me...My house mate is driving me nuts!", I exclaimed in frustration.

"What's wrong now?? I thought you both sorted it out last week", Gabriel questioned. "Heck yeah we did..", I replied, annoyed and rolling my eyes.

"I saw that!", Gabriel teased. I turned my head away from her, rolling my eyes again.

"Ash...Stop being such a child", Gabriel teased. "What else am I suppose to do...Let that bitc-...", I stopped realizing I've said something bad. Gabriel started laughing.

"Stop it...Its not funnyyy...You gotta help me Gab", I pleaded but Gabriel was busy engulfing that sandwich she bought earlier on. Annoyed, I waited for her till she finished chewing.

When she is done with the food in her mouth, I asked her again,"Are you done?". She raised up one finger in front of my face as if asking me to hold on. I pouted yet kept quiet.

"Cut me some slack,Ash...I'm barely even back from my last trip and here you are asking me to solve your problematic housemate.", she said with her mouth full as she continue with every last bit of her sandwich.

"Ask her to move out. I can't stand being with her. She is pressuring me. She acts like she is the boss of me.", I yell in annoyance.

"Ash...Why on earth that you're whining about your housemate everytime we meet like this.", Gabriel replied, palming her face as if she is so done with my drama. "I told you for the billion times, just be more patient with her. She is at least...way better...",Gabriel paused not wanting to continue. She cleared her throat and looked away.

'Is she hiding something from me?'

"Gabriel...", I looked at her, confused as my other brow meets the sky. "Huh.Er...What", pretending as if she had just done a careless mistake but I know she is playing dumb with me. "Better than what Gab?", I insisted, shaking her arms.

"Ash...Just bear with Kate. Its just another two years and you would never have to see her face again.", Gabriel replied trying to avoid the topic. "Don't change the topic on me. Continue what you're saying.", I insisted as I leaned back towards my chair, crossing my arms while waiting for her reply. She sighed in defeat.

"I received a call yesterday. One of my tenant from Eastern Road's apartment decided to move out after just few weeks of stay.", Gabriel paused, looking at me to see if I'm getting her point. She continued, "I did ask her why did she decided to move out yet she told me that she found a cheaper apartment. But, I didn't buy that because-", I cut Gabriel off. "Well, whats the hush now? Keys? I'll take her room.", I demanded. "Ash..You don't understand...The last thing I want to do is put you in the same house with-", again I cut her off. "I will be alright Gabriel. How old do you think I am?", I assured her.

"Err..Five?", Gabriel teased. "Very funny...", I said sarcasticly. "So,keys Gab? Please...Just give me the keys. I really don't want to be with Kate anymore. I can't stand her dramas and her cocky boyfriends that tries to flirt on me whenever their over.", I pleaded. Both my hands clasped against each other, begging her for mercy. She looked at me.

After some thought, she reluctantly agree and hand me the keys. I happily took them, "Thanks Gab. You save me big time.". She returned me a small smile as if wondering if the decision she just made was right or wrong.

Placing both her elbows on the table, she asked, "When will you be moving in?".

"Why wait? I can do it right now."

"You're joking, right...Thats a little too fast."

"Nah..its fine...As I said, I'd do anything to stay far far away from Kate. Every slight chance opening for me", I replied.
