Aay Or Little Green Boys POV-

It's been two weeks since I first met Magnus. And I have to tell you, it's been annoying. Turns out that Magnus is my new neighbor. He lives two house next to me and he waits every morning on the side walk for me. It was annoying. But I gave up on trying to chase him away a while ago.

Now I was walking in the park while someone, not going to mention who, was following me with his stupid umbrella. It was sunny and Magnus was giving me shade as I walked. I was walking pretty fast and Magnus , having slightly shorter legs had to speed walk.

"Aay, why are you walking so fast? Slow down." Magnus asked me as he was trying to keep up.

"Sorry. Why are you so slow?" I asked him as I slowed my pace.

"Well, it's not my fault that my legs are shorter than yours." Magnus answered with some sass in his voice. Once he caught up, he looked around. I seen Magnus eye up the swing set.

"Do you want to go on the swings?" I asked him.

"Sure, that sound fun." He answered. We walked to the swing set and I helped him get on one of them. The playground was empty. Probably because it rained an hour ago. It helped him get on one of the swings, after he closed his umbrella, then I hoped on one my self. We sat there in silence for a few minutes.

"Can you promise me something Aay?" Magnus spoke all of a sudden. I looked at him and he looked at me.

"What kind of promise?" I asked.

"The kind you never break."

"I know what kind promise. Stop being a smart-ass."

"I know, and what does smart-ass mean?" He asked me while cooking his head to the side. A thing he did when he didn't understand something.

"Let's just say it's you." I answered him while pointing a finger at him. He looked at my finger, and nibbled on it. He's done this several times before, and they were never hard nibbles so I just got more irritated than anything.

"Stop nibbling my fingers you Stupid Umbrella Boy!" I yelled at him while pulling my finger out of his mouth.

"Fine mister bossy pants." Magnus said with, again sass in his voice. He turned away from me.

"Stop being sassy." I said out of irritation.

"No."

I sighed."What do you want me to promise you?" I asked.

"That you will always be my Green Boy, and you will never forget me. No matter what." He said while turning his attention back to me, and looking at me. "You think you can do that?"

"Ya. I can do that." I held my pinky out, "As long as you promise the same thing."

He hooked his pinky up with mine," I promise. I will always be your Umbrella Boy." We stayed like this for a while. Looking into eachothers eyes with our pinky hooked.

That is, until it started raining again.  We hoped off the swing set. Magnus opened his Umbrella, and held my hand. One thing he did when he was happy. And that's how we walked home. Hand in hand with a smile on both our faces. I knew we would be friends for a long time.

Two years later- Magnus POV-

Me and Aay had been friends since we were two. We did everything together. We sleep together, we eat together, we go to the park together, we even get sick together. It was a fun day for both of us. We even took care of my little sister, Emily. She is a year old. Same with Aays little brother Trey, who was the same age as Emily.

But, lately, Aay hasn't been seen lately. I haven't seen him in over a week. So I grad my umbrella and walked to his house. When I get there, there was a big truck in front of his houses. I walked up and seen they were moving there furniture into the truck. I seen Aay sitting on the side walk. I started running towards him.

"Aay!" I called out to him. He looked over to see me. He looked like he had been crying. He stood up and slowly walked towards me.

"Magnus? What are you doing here?" He asked as I got close.

"I was wondering were you've been. I haven't seen you in over a week. So what going on?" I asked him as I came to be infront of him. He looked down at his feet. He looked sad.

"I," he sighed, "I am moving. I am moving to a place called Los Volmos. It's two towns away from here." He said. He was still looking down at his feet. I was looking ar him with did belief.

"What? When are you comeing back? Are you comeing back?"

"No. Mom said it's best for use to leave here. She said it will help us have a better life." He looked at me. I looked at him. I looked at my umbrella and gave it to him. He looked at me confused.

"Why are you giving this to me? Don't you need it?" He asked me. He took it from me and I smiled at him.

"I have another one. Besides, you need it to remember me." I told him. He looked at me and smiled.

"You will need something to remember me too." Aay said, as he removed a  necklace from his neck. It was a small green emerald necklace.

(That's what it looks like)

It was a gift from his mom. He got it when he was three.

"Why are you giving this to me? This is from your mom." I asked him. He had a smile on his face. He looked like he was on the verge of tears.

"And know. It yours." He said as he put the necklace on my neck. "It's so you can remember me." He then pulled me into a hug and cried. I felt my self tear up. We stayed like that for a few minutes.

"Aay come on we have to go." Aay's mom called out. Aay pulled away from me.

"I have to go. I will try to come back so I a take you away from here. Until then, I will never forget you."

"And I, you. Bye Little Green Boy."

"Bye my Little Umbrella boy." I gave him a quick kiss on the check before I walked back to my house. That was the last time we saw eachother.
