Chapter 17

Emily POV-

Every time Magnus has come, he seems happier. I can tell that Aay is truly helping him. And I am happy and forever grateful for that. The fact that Magnus is less stressed and having more of a "normal" life, and it's actually helping me as well. I have improved by a lot, and I can actually leave the bed without collapsing.

It is most likely due to their being less stressed. Ever since Aay came back into his life, I have worried less. Which is always good when you are recovering.

The only problem I have is the fact that Magnus has taken a dislike to Dan Kuzo. I have searched him up, and it turns out he and his friends, the Awsome Ones, they are the first ones to discover bakugan. I don't know why he doesn't like him. It could be the fact that Kravitz and Phelomina are giving him issues. It's causing him stress.

While Aay has releiving some of it, I can see it starting to affect him. I want to do more, but I don't know how.

Now I was watching Magmus inside of a similartor. He was up against the simulation version of Dan. Aay and everyone else were out doing other drills, so it was just Magnus.

Which was something I was worried about. They were testing his device on his arm. They had a small chip on his device and a head set on his head. They were monitoring everything. I don't understand why they ate doing this, however.

I mean, Magnus is the only one they are doing all these tests on. Aay and Strata are also users of the device, but Magnus is the only one they are testing on. It honestly worries me.

I watched as he completely annihilated the simulation. I watch as he takes a deep breath and looks toward me. I give him a smile and an exited look. I did this to cover my worry. He smiled and then walked to the exit of the simulator.

However, before he can take a step toward me, some of the staff grab him. This surprised me.

"What is this?" He yells. Clearly surprising him as well.

"Check up time." One of them says and drags him to another room.

I tried to follow, but they shut the door in my face. I feel my worry build up. I go through the door and go down the hall.

I get to a partially closed door. I ⁰ through and see Magnus lying on a table hooked up to a machine. He looks like he is under stress. I watch as they start fiddling with his device.

I watch as they turn the machine on, and power runs through the device. I see Phelomina watching from the room above. She is talking to one of the doctors. She then turns on a mic.

"Turn the power up." She says.

The doctor does as she says. I notice Magnus starting to become uncomfortable. While it wasn't obvious, I could tell he was becoming uncomfortable.

"Turn the power up higher." Phelomina says again.

I can see the hesitation in the doctors movements, but they do as she says. I notice Magnus becoming more uncomfortable and being strained. I have an eager to stop them, but I know that won't do a thing.

Turn it up all the way." Phelomina says.

"That could cause him harm ma'am." The doctor next to her says.

"He can handle it." She says.

The power gets turned all the way up. And turn around. I'm not bareing to watch as my brothers body gets put through even more pain.

"You will use this power to defet Dan Kuzo. And you will not fail." I hear Phelomina say.

'Dan Kuzo....' I think to myself.

I realize that if Magnus battles Dan today, he will get hurt. And I won't let that happen.

I get off my wheel chair and run out AAAnomus. I had watched many of the Aousome Ones videos, so I know that the park is a favorite place for them to brawl. I just hope I can get there before Magnus does.
