Lost But Found.........Some Hidden Memories

Chapter Five

It has been two year after that day today.

That day, 22nd December 1990.

Sir Dominic wasn't well enough.
Henry couldn't go to library.

Since the library couldn't be shut, I decided to work on the behalf of Henry.

Henry guided me with the instructions to manage everything. I loved books and was very happy and eager to spend the day with thousands of books.

Library was not that big either but a decent one. I started my work with the accounts.

Within an hour, I completed all my work.

Older People in Sunshine Town likes reading books. Youngsters are more into cinema nowadays.

I didn't have any work left so I started reading a book.

Suddenly when I was engrossed in reading, someone asked me something.

"Do you have any novel based on triller adventure?".

I looked up and saw Jane. Her face looked surprised probably to see me at Henry's place.

"Oh! It's you, Chris right? Do you like reading? Even I was thinking, How can Henry read! He doesn't like reading. Sorry about that.
Do you mind If I may take that book which you are reading?", She pointed towards the book .

"Yeah...". I handed the book which I was reading.

"Thank you". She thanked me and sat at the corner table.

I kept looking at her, she was very busy reading.After sometime, she looked up at the clock and got up immediately.
She came up to me.

"Hey! I am getting late, I'll come tomorrow again. By the way tomorrow is my grandmother's birthday, Zack and I are organising a party.
Please do come with Henry and Uncle. Okay! See you and take care". She left saying this.

I went home after the sunset,

By the time, Sir's Condition had improved alot.
He was still sleeping.
Henry was in his room.

Aunt Nersey had cooked dinner for us.
I had my food alone and went inside my room. I started searching for my best clothing for the party next day.

It took me one hour looking at my closet.

The very next day, I decided to go to library again. Jane was already at the library. I finished my work. She came up to me,

"Hey are you busy now? I need some help". She asked sweetly.

"Yes, How can I help you?" I smiled.

"Can you please help me with the floral arrangements for the party? Everybody are busy and I can't do it all alone". She gave me a puppy look. I agreed.

We sat at the garden bench outside the library.She had many flowers with her. I helped her with the arrangements. We talked so much while working. She felt comfortable with me.

We laughed and shared our past lives. It was five o'clock when we left the garden.
I went home directly and got ready.

Sir and Henry were also dressed up in black tuxedos.

I was wearing a white shirt with a navy blue blazer.

Morco and Aunt Nersey were at the party already. Sir was on the wheelchair.
Henry was carrying his wheelchair.

Zack's house was located at the beach. Party was well organized. Limited people were invited.
I met Zack and he introduced me to his Grandmother.
I wished her and she seemed very happy.
She greeted me well and was pleased to talk to me.

Jane came to us when I was busy talking to Granny.

She was wearing a light pink gown. She had applied a little make up.
Her face was glowing. Emily was with her. Morco freezed when he spotted Emily approaching towards him.

I burst in laughter when I looked at Morco's flushed face.

"Hey Chris! Thank you for helping me. You are a great guy. Can we be friends?". Jane asked forwarding her hand towards me.
I shook it and accepted.

Zack played the best music.
We all danced with granny. It was the most pleasant day I ever had.

We enjoyed a lot and returned home tired after the party ended.
