"(Y/N)"!!!!! Your friend screams at you in the hallway. "What?" You asked sarcastically. "Let me guess, you got a date to the valentine dance?" "YES!!" She shrieks. "What's the big deal about the dance, anyway?" You roll your eyes. She's probably excited because it's our first valentine dance as a high schooler. You had to deal with (Y/F/N)'s pain for the last 2 weeks. She keeps crying over a boy that won't ask her out, but assuming, he finally did. She's literally jumping of joy. "IT'S A DANCE. AND BETTER YET, A VALENTINE DANCE." She lectures me. Annoyed, I yell at her back. "I STILL DON'T SEE THE POINT AND MAYBE I NEVER WILL." I slammed my locker so hard everybody turned around. Including a group of girls, who were the stuck up bullies around here. The ringleader, and the two dumbasses. I wonder who am I gonna stick up for today. I walked slowly to the group to see a guy with glasses. Nerd, I thought. But he doesn't look familiar. He must be new. 

"NERD!" The ringleader of the group yelled at. She took his glasses and threw them to the ground. The left lens cracked, which was a relief for him but as the girls kept on bullying him he looked like he was about to cry, so I decided to stand up to him. I walked forward a step, and said, "ENOUGH!" The girls turned to me. 

"Well, well. Look who it is." The leader smirked at me. I rolled my eyes. I dealt with her a million times. She doesn't bother me a bit.

"Oh? Is this your date to the dance? Ew. I'm leaving, and I don't want him to ruin my reputation like he's going to ruin yours." She faked a smile and walked away.

"Yeah, ruin your reputation." Said dumbass #1. Dumbass #2 laughed, and they walk away like they were the bitches of the school.

"I can't wait when she doesn't graduate." (Y/F/N) snickers. I laughed. Then, I turned to pick up the boy's glasses and handed to him. I smile and give him my hand. He stares at it for a while, but then takes it. 

"What's your name?" I asked. "Calum." His bottom lip quivers as he says it.
