Y/n's POV
Today was the day you had been waiting for. You were a student in class 1-A. You had no clue who your classmates were or who your teacher was. But you were in the same class as your best friend and that's all that mattered. You were extremely excited as your alarm rung. You barely slept but that was normal. You stared at your ceiling for a moment before you shot up out of bed. You quickly got ready for the day.
"Good morning pumpkin!"
You sat at the table and stared at your dad's scrambling at the kitchen. It was unusual to see both of them in the morning together.
"Okay Here's your breakfast sweetie me and your dad have to leave for work but we love you so much. Have a good day."
They both kissed your head and ran out the door.
Honestly you had no clue what your parents did. You knew they were pro-hero's and that they patrolled at random times of the day oh and worked at UA somehow but other than that you really had no idea. This was a new schedule for you. You were getting up later in the morning and it was unusual to see your dad in a rush. You finished your breakfast and put food in the cats bowl before making your way out the door. As per usual you saw Shoto standing in-front of the lawn waiting for you.
"Sho-Chan! Aren't you excited?!"
He nodded and grabbed your bag. He had lately started carrying your things on the way and from the way too school. You honestly didn't even remember how long ago you started walking with Shoto to and from school but it didn't matter because he was your best friend. You guys slowly arrived at the gate of UA it was a little further than your previous school's but you didn't mind.
"How do you feel Sho-Chan?"
He looked up at the building.
"Excited."
You lit up at his response.
"Let's go!"
You basically sprinted to your homeroom classroom. You walked into a busy loud classroom. There was a guy with glasses arguing with a guy that had spiky blonde hair about his feet on the desk. There was a green haired guy with freckles talking to a girl with brown hair. In general there was plenty of chatter. Everyone was already seated so you and Shoto just sat down he sat right behind you and handed you your bag.
As you sat down everyone suddenly got quiet.
"Welcome to U.A's hero course."
You immediately recognized the voice and banged your head against the table
You looked over at the door and saw what looked like a yellow caterpillar. As the yellow caterpillar stood up you silently cursed yourself.
"It took eight seconds before you all shut up. That's not gonna work time is precious, only rational students would understand that. Hello, I'm Shota Aizawa Your teacher."
He looked at you from the door and slightly smiled. Although you love your dad. He is completely ruthless in public not to you but you knew it was against school policy for teachers to show favoritism. As you snapped back to reality you saw your dad holding up a gym uniform. Everyone quickly stood up and went to locker rooms to put them on. After that you all shuffled outside.Aizawa's POV
Its a brand new year. I get to teach my little pumpkin on her first year she's going to be so surprised!
"Huh, a quirk assessment test?"
We're supposed to be at an orientation or something but I don't really care.
"If you really want to make the big leagues you can't waste time on pointless ceremonies. Bakugo throw this softball with your quirk."
He walked up to the circle and threw the soft ball using his quirk to explode and propel the ball forward. I held up his phone it read 705.2 meters. Everyone gasped. A pink haired girl named Mina Ashido clapped her hands together.
"That looks like fun I wanna go!"
Another student with black hair named Sero spoke.
"This is what I'm talking about! Getting to use our quirks as much as we want!"
I rolled my eyes at them and chuckled.
"So this looks like fun? Idiots. You have three years here to become a hero. Today you'll compete in 8 physical tests to gauge your potential. Whoever comes in last will be expelled. I looked over at the students most of them had a surprised look on their face.Y/n's POV
"Psst Shoto I bet, I can beat you!"
He looked over at you.
"I would like to think otherwise."
You giggled slightly. Your dad kept talking but honestly you knew he was bluffing he was mean but you knew he already saw potential in everyone. You snapped back to hear students protesting how the test wasn't fair but your dad gave them a pep talk.
"Let the games begin."
First up was the speed test the same one you had done at the entrance exam with Shoto. You silently watched the students race and your dad analyze the students to himself. You went up against Shoto.
"0.062 seconds!"
"0.354 seconds!"
You smiled at your dad and then looked at Shoto.
"Woah Sho-chan that was faster than the exam we did at the beginning of the year good job!"
He looked at you.
"Thank you y/n."~Time skip because y'all already know everything~
You ended up tied with Shoto for second place.
"Aw man! You did really good Sho-chan!"
"You as well Y/n."
"And I was lying no one's going home."
Most of the students gasped.
"That's it go pick up a syllabus in the classroom."
You giggled a bit and grabbed Shoto's wrist.
"C'mon Sho-chan! Let's go! You both went into your separate locker rooms changed and walked back to the classroom grabbing your things and then walking out to the main entrance.
"Hey you Two!"
You looked up at Shoto and then looked over to whoever said your name it was a girl with brown hair.
"Hi I'm Ochaco Uraraka what are your names!"
You smiled at her.
"I'm Y/n! Nice to meet you."
"Shoto Todoroki."
"I don't remember seeing you at the entrance exam how'd you two get in to U.A?"
"We got in through recommendations."
"Oh I see! It was nice meeting you two!"
Then she ran off.(I finally finished this chapter!! I hope it was a good one!)
