November 2014, NAIA Terminal 1.

Amalthea POV

"Mommy! Si Tita Sharon po ba yun?" She heard her brother asked her Mom who is wearing sunglasses and her head to toe signature clothes, their Mom is really beautiful, at the age of 34 she sure still looks like 25 years old. She's still stunning as ever! Parang hindi nanganak ng dalawa.

Her brother on the other hand is wearing a simple white sweater and black pants with sunglasses too. Her brother is very handsome at 13, alam niya that a lot of girls from their school has a crush on him. His dimpled smile may have added to the charm.

She heard her Tita Sharon commented that he got his dimples from his father. She could agree because her Papa Rob has dimples too, but she bet her dimples is more cuter and she also bet that hers comes from her dad too and she cannot wait to see him!

She had been praying since forever na sana ma meet na niya ang Daddy niya. She admits she's jealous of her friends and her brother.

"Yep that's your Tita Sharon na, let's go." Her mom told them and walks ahead of them

Both her and her brother were more than thankful that their Mom agreed to come back here in the Philippines, even if it is just for a vacation.

Her Kuya Aries have a different reason why he wanted to come here. Reasons that he haven't told her yet, but both of them partly wanted their Mom to be happy.

She always looks like something is missing from her. It wasn't a secret that her Mom still wanted Papa Rob back, he's her first love.

Totoo nga siguro that first love never dies, she cannot help but to think, what about her Dad?

Does her Mom loves him too?

"Arabella!!!!" Her Tita Sharon greeted and engulfed her Mom in a big hug. Amalthea couldn't help but smile at the scene.

"Tita Sha! I missed you! How's Abu?" She asked her aunt as soon as they are inside the car. They have a driver so her Aunt is at the passenger seat while they are sitting at the back. As always tahimik lang ang kuya Aries niya. He's watching by the window na a-amazed ata sa traffic sa Pilipinas. Hahaha!

"I missed you more kids! Your Abu is at home so we will go there so you can  eat and rest. Then Ara, sabi ni Tita, bukas na daw kayo umuwi sa bahay mo sa Alabang she wanted to spend time with the kids daw tonight." Tita Sharon said to Mom and before Mom can reply Tita Sharon cut her off by saying : "Don't worry, your house is already clean and Tita sent a maid and a driver for you as well. How long will you stay here ba?"

"I'm not really sure as to how long, but we will be staying here for the holidays, siguro until new year." Her Mom told her Aunt kaya siniko naman niya ang kuya niya.

Aries looks at her meaningfully and she nodded her head. Both of them were wishing the same thing and that's to stay here for good.

"Abu!!! We're here!" Aries shouted as soon as he got out of the car. Aries is such a Lola's boy talaga!

"Oh! My favorite Apos!" Abu sweetly hugged and kissed us both.

"Eh Abu, we are your only apo naman po e". I pouted and Abu hugged me tighter.

"Hi Mom! Nakita mo lang ang mga bata nakalimutan mo na andito ang anak mo." Mom said while laughing and hugging Abu.

"Hello Anak! How's your flight? Are you staying here for good na?" Abu said with a hopeful smile on her face..

Please say yes Mom!

Ara's POV

Natahimik naman ako sa sinabi ni Mommy.

Sa totoo lang, hindi pa din ako nakakapag decide kung mag stay na ba kami dito for good, although my heart really wants to stay here and take my life back.

"Mommy, kakarating pa lang namin oh. Saka na natin pag-usapan yan." Sagot ko na lang kay Mom habang naglalakad kami papasok ng bahay.

I was settled on the sofa and opened my messenger account.

I got messages from the barkada, they already knew that I am here. They created a GC pa.

Sometimes, Sharon can really be too excited for her own good and now, everyone was asking for a reunion.

She have a smile on her face while replying to their messages until that one message:

Argus : Welcome back, Arabella.

Masasabi pa kaya niyang welcome back once he found out the truth?

"Ara!" She was startled when Sharon nudged her.

She was looking at her meaningfully and she knows what that looks meant.

She sighed and confusedly looks at her cousin.

"I'm not sure, Sha. Should I?" She asked her cousin.

"Dapat nga noon pa e." Sagot naman ng pinsan.

"I don't know— we're never really together. You know that! Plus, ayaw kong maka gulo. He's getting married that time." She said as if defending herself from her poor choices in life.

"But he offered to marry you first and you declined remember?" Sharon reminded her in a hushed tone then cautiously looks at her kids who were just a few steps away from them.

"You know my reason Sha, I wouldn't enter a relationship, let alone marriage without love." She stated as a matter of factly.

"But do you think he loved you?" Sharon asked again and stilled for a moment.

"As a matter of fact— yes." She answered with a bitter smile on her lips.

Sharon's eyes widened at that.

"Really?! H-how? I mean, how did you know exactly?" Comes her follow-up question.

"He told me the night before he got married, he was insisting I should come, I asked him why he wanted me to be there." She paused, remembering that conversation with Argus.

"What did he say?" Sharon asked curiously.

"He told me that I was the most important person in his life and that he loves me." She answered and felt a stung in her chest.

"And?— "

"And I thought he was joking and told him that I love him too and that if he wanted to elope with me, I would take him." Ara stated and even laugh at her statement.

But then Sharon didn't.

Nagtataka man sa reaction ng pinsan ay ipinag patuloy niya ang kwento.

"I deleted my socials after that, even changed my number on the day of his wedding. It felt wrong kasi to still be in contact with him after everything." She stated and Sharon still has her mouth open.

"Pero you know what? That was the first time that I actually thought about it— about us. And I even thought, maybe I felt something for him too? I don't know— my heart hurts e, I even cried on that day, I have half a heart decision to go back in the Philippines and steal him away, pero hindi ko ginawa." She added.

"Why didn't you?" Sharon asked.

"Rob came. He visited Aries, I took it as a sign, na baka ganun na lang kami ni Argus, that he will always be the one that got away."

"I don't think so Ara, I think it was more of, he loved you too early— like he fell for you when your heart still belongs to someone else and you? You loved him too late, na realized mo na may feelings ka but hindi mo na ini-acknowledge dahil may iba na siya." Sharon stated and she's not wrong.

Her cousin described exactly what happened between her and Argus.

"Yeah— too late indeed." She murmured.

"Or not."

"What do you mean?" She asked.

"He didn't get married Ara. He got into an accident on his wedding day."
