"What? Now? Clarke what are you talking about?" Rita moves aside.

"Yes, now, I need to get out of here, we can get to know each other on the plane or something. Please?" Clarke begs. Rita sighs and looks at the time.

She purses her lips. "I would but I'm broke, I can't afford a plane ticket."

"i'll pay, Rita. I have plenty of money, just please let me pay so I, we, can get the hell out of here?"

"fine, but you have to help me pack."

After a long drive to the airport. in which Clarke had slept most of the way, they are finally on the plane to Spain. Rita now sleeps, and Clarke is playing games on her new phone, which is bigger than her hand. Because she had logged into the game with Facebook, she notices Lexa plays too. She goes to the app and searches her name.

There are no recent photos but a few of the city, but none of her and Costia. But under all those are pictures of her and Clarke, lots of them. She then looks through Lexa's friends and finds that Costia isn't one of them, which surprises her. Rita stirs next to her and blinks open her deep green eyes. They catch Clarke's blue ones, and it makes her heart race. Guilt filled her and she turned her head, focusing out the window and into the clouds.

"Who's that?" Clarke hadn't realized she still had her phone screen on.

"The friend that moved to Italy, Lexa," she murmurs and then looks at Rita, who offers her a small, sad smile.

"She's really pretty if that helps. I didn't know you were into girls," Rita comments, smiling.

"Why, is that a problem? Think i'm going to fall in love with you?" Clarke asked playfully, nudging her with her elbow.

"No, not at all, I'd be flattered if someone as gorgeous as you fell for someone like me," she teases.

"Someone like you, what does that mean," Clarke cocks her head, a smile spreading across her lips.

"Nothing. I'm not exactly girlfriend material I guess. Every relationship i've ever been in, boy or girl, has epicly failed. Not to mention I'm not as pretty as most girls, like you." Clarke's cheeks heat up.

"Don't be silly. You are gorgeous. I am so jealous of your tan skin, and full hair, and you beautiful green eyes. Your eyes are my favorite." This time it's Rita's turn to blush. Clarke smiles and leans on her shoulder, closing her eyes.

"Don't sleep now. i want to know more about the mysterious blonde who has me on a plane to Spain in the middle of the night." Rita says. Clarke sits up.

When the plane lands, they call a cab and request for the driver to take them to the nicest, nearest hotel. Once inside and settled, Rita calls her mom and Clarke starts looking up local restaurants where they can eat. Her stomach rumbles loud which elicits laughter from Rita. "Sorry mom, Clarke's starving, I just heard her stomach growl from across the room. Mom, no ..no no no... ok...okay,yeah, that's fine. Yes, yeah, okayy. I love you too. Bye." Clarke furrows her eyebrows at the green eyed girl. She gives Clarke a lopsided grin.

"What?" Clarke asked, deciphering the meaning of the expression.

"My mom and her uneducated self, kind of picked up the wrong signal, and thinks you're my girlfriend since you came with me. When we go visit, can you pretend to, so I don't disappoint her. She's never met any of my significant others." Rita pleads.

Clarke sighs. "Sure, fine, but that's it," Rita put her hands up in defense and nods.

"Yes, of course, that's it."

Lexa is casually lounging the the chair in the living room, history channel on low and typing away at some work on her computer for school. Costia wasn't home for whatever reason, so she had nothing to do but work.

Her phone buzzes loudly.

"Hello?"

"Have you heard from Clarke?" It's Abby.

"No, not for a few weeks, why?"

"Well, she was doing fine, not running and hiding or anything anymore, and then I thought she was still at her apartment, but she's not."

"Did she leave a note or anything?"

"No, nothing. Her drawers are ransacked and nearly empty, and my suitcase is missing. I don't know where she is, I think she's coming to see you."

Lexa's hands are shaking. She's worried.

"Alright, I'll keep an eye out and let you know if I see or hear anything."

"Thanks Lexa"

"No problem. Wait!"

"Yes?"

"Have you heard anything about the accident yet?"

"No, not yet, still investigating."

"Okay. Thanks, bye"

Costia walks in shortly after she's hung up. She herself is also on the phone talking to god knows who, and pays no mind to Lexa as she makes her way to the bedroom. Lexa sighs, used to the normal routine.

"Hey Cos, I'm going to grab dinner, anything you want in particular?" Lexa asks, poking her head into the room.

"No,I ate. But there's a list of errands on the fridge, can you take care of those for me. I have a spa appointment in the morning and hair in the afternoon, I need my beauty rest," she waves off.

Lexa rolls her eyes. "Whatever, fine," And leaves. While in the car, she thinks about the past few months. The only constant thing that's been on her mind is Clarke. She thinks about just leaving, Costia probably wouldn't notice anyway. She huffs and pulls into an empty parking lot, leaning back into her seat, and just, thinks.

She wants to call Clarke. Abby had sent Lexa her new number. She fidgeted with the phone in her hands. She decides against it and goes back to just thinking. She needs to clear her mind, and the only way Lexa knows how to do that, is with alcohol.
