A week goes by, and Rita and Clarke become closer than ever. From sharing late night's full of secrets, to skinny dipping in a lake at two in the morning. They have tons of fun before they have to go to Rita's parents.

On their last day, Rita decided to be spontaneous.

"Come on slow poke, we're going to be late!"

"Late to where?" Clarke complains.

"You'll see darling."

Rita pulls the rental car into somewhere, but Clarke has a thick blindfold bound around her eyes so she cannot see. Rita enjoys leading Clarke, their hands and fingers intertwined as she tugs her along.

"Okay, we're here," she announces softly, untying the cloth from around her head. When she opens her eyes, blinking in the new brightness, her breath is taken away. They are standing on a bridge, crystal blue water on either side with fountains, and cherry blossom trees all around.

"Oh my...wow Rita, this is incredible," she turns to face the brunette, who in return pushes a flower into Clarks hair, brushing her thumbs against her cheek.

"it's beautiful, just like you," Rita whispers. Clarkes cheeks turn a light shade of pink. Rita's eyes flicker to Clarke's lips, and vise versa. They lean in, foreheads touching.

"I really like you," Rita murmurs.

"Then kiss me" And she does. Rita feels fireworks, and Clarke's body is on fire. The kiss is passionate, full of loss and love and sadness. The cherry blossoms infiltrate their senses, and the wind whips their hair around. Neither of them know how long the kiss last, or who pulls away forist. But now they're standing there, body pressed together, warm wind pressing against their backs, tangling blonde and brunettes locks, and everything is perfect, peaceful.

"Favorite song?" Clarke asks, popping a grape in her mouth. Her and Rita are sitting in the shade of a cherry blossom tree, eating a huge basket of fruit they had randomly purchased.

"Um, Say Hey, by Michael Franti and Spearhead. I love that song, a lot, but I don't think I have a favorite. What about you?"

"I love all music. I don't have a favorite." Clarke shrugs. Rita rolls her eyes and laughs at the typical answer.

"Okay, if you could have three wishes what would they be?" Clarke asks.

"Anything?"

"Anything."

"Well. I would wish for a lot of money, like one hundred billion dollars. And then I'd use the other two wishes to give each other immortality so we could be together forever."

"Aawwh," Clarke cooes, pecking Rita on the cheek.

"I know, I'm sweet," she laughs.

They pack up the fruit and make their way to the car to go back to the hotel. When they get there, Rita orders room service, wine and pizza, and Clarke checks her phone. After she had sent her mom a message saying she was fine, she didn't get many missed calls from her.

"Red wine, white wine?" Clarke shrugs.

"Whatever is fine," she answers.

"I was thinking we could just leave tonight, otherwise we have to pay more for the hotel for another night"

"Yeah, that sounds like a good idea. I'll start packing the stuff, you go shower." She nudges Rita who nods and makes her way to the bathroom. Clarke sinks to the floor and screams into the side of the bed in frustration. What was she getting herself into? She let the events of the day sink in, and she felt more guilty than ever. She was using Rita as a rebound, to get herself back up after letting Lexa leave. She couldn't help it though. Rita was there, Lexa wasn't. But that was Clarke's fault too.

Clarke woke up to the buzzing of her alarm, bare body pressed into Rita's. It was 11:30pm. She slipped out of bed, head throbbing from the bottle of wine, and pulled on her clothes. She nudged Rita awake and told her she was going to go check out and grab a bag cart for their things. She mumbled something inaudible and Clarke left the room.

When she returned with the huge brass rack, Rita had gathered all the bags at the door and was making the bed and cleaning everything up. "I'll meet you in the car okay?" Clarke said, pushing the cart of bags out of the door. Rita nods.

"Yeah, i'll be right down, are you driving?"

"Yeah." Clarke answers and then leaves for the last time,

The car ride is mostly silent, only the quiet hum of the radio could be heard. They would sneak glances at each other every once in a while, and hold hands, but everything was perfect, and both Clarke and Rita wanted it to stay that way. The guilt was a normal thing for Clarke now. She let it cloud her mind, there was nothing else she could do.

About four hours into the car ride, they stop at a gas station and load up on gas and snacks. The cakes and candies provided just enough sugar to lighten the mood, and they sing along to nearly every upbeat song that comes on the radio. Not soon after that, the sky is turning a deep pink, orange and light blue as the sun rises. Rita can't keep her eyes off Clarke.

"Clarke. Sé que no hemos conocido por mucho tiempo. pero. Creo que Te amo. No, yo te amo. Cada vez que pienso en ti, te mira, te toque, cualquier cosa, me siento tan, dios no puedo describirlo. Te amo y quiero estar contigo para siempre. Espero que me encantará volver." Rita says in a low, soft spoken voice. Clarke can't understand what she says, but picks up on a few words. Especially love. She shoves her mouthful with a twinkie and focuses on the road, and Rita just hums. She's in Love

Lexa's on edge. She has no idea what happened the night before, drinking was a mistake. Costia's pissed and won't say why, and she's just a mess. She's tried calling Clarke, and she noticed that she had activity on her Facebook page. She had been tagged in many photos of a girl named Rita Sanchez. Who the Hell? She thinks as she scrolls through the multiple pictures.

It makes her nauseous when she finds one of them kissing. it kills her. Her chest aches, tears spill from her eyes, and she sobs uncontrollably. Not answering Clarke's messages and calls the first time was the biggest mistake of her life. What was she thinking?

She slammed her laptop closed and leaned back into her chair. Clarke had moved on, maybe she needs to too. But she had already tried. With Costia, but no one could compare to the way she felt about Clarke. She had denied it all those times and pushed away and it now tears at her soul, destroying her life piece by piece. Costia won't even look at her. What did she do? She can't give up though, not now, after all they had been through.

She opened up the laptop once again and began looking through Rita's profile. She lived in spain, which was only a about a 8 hour drive from where she was now. Was Clarke in Spain? She stared at her phone and debated on calling her. She does. No answer. Disappointed she lays in bed. Her emotions are everywhere, and they way she feels is utterly indescribable.

Her phone buzzes. She picks it up

"Hello," the voice sends tingle up her spine.

"Clarke? It's Lexa. It's so good to hear your voice."

"Yeah. Yours too."

"Where are you? You're mom is worried."

" I'm in Spain, with a friend, visiting her family. After that i was going to come see you, if that's okay?"

"Yeah, that would be amazing. I really miss you Clarke."

"I miss you too Lexa. Hey I got to go, driving, but ill call you when i get to a point where i can talk,"

"okay, I love you," Clarke pauses. Lexa had to say it.

"I know.I love you, too."
