~Dreamland~
“H-hello?” I called out. A beautiful woman who looked almost exactly like me appeared. “Hello my child.” she said. “H-hello? W-who are y-you?” I asked. “I am the moon goddess Selene... And I am your mother.” she replied. I was shocked. “M-moon goddess? M-mother? M-my mother abandoned me t-though.” I said in curiosity and then sorrow. “I never meant to abandon you, dear. I accidentally dropped you down to earth before I completed you. You don’t know me because the one thing you were without when you landed on earth was memory of me. I do hope you can forgive me, however, now is not the time to explain everything. I’ve come to tell you some important news. You will be meeting your mate soon. I need you to trust him, even though you haven’t had a great life. I hope you find love, and I hope you can forgive me. Anyway, you must go back now. Goodbye my daughter.” she said calmly.

I woke up in a cold sweat. I felt my body aching, but paid it no mind. It’s not something I haven’t felt before, aching pain. I stood up and got into my day clothing. I walked out of my room and ascended down the stairs. I headed to the kitchen and started cooking. A few seconds later, the other omegas came in. “hello Eleanore…” Rynn said tiredly. I smiled and looked at them. “Y-you guys rest, I-I can c-cook breakfast t-today.” I smiled at them. “Oh thank you Eleanore, you’re a lifesaver.” Rielle sighed. I smiled and started on the waffles. I finished 20 minutes later, and handed the dishes to Anna and Rielle to place on the table. They smiled and headed to the dining room. I had snuck a little for me and the others, but not enough for anyone to notice. I called the others into the kitchen. “G-guys, c-can you come i-tnto the k-kitchen?” I asked quietly. “Yes Eleanore?” Anna and Rynn asked. I handed them their plates and they gasped. “Thanks so much El!” Anna exclaimed. I giggled quietly at the nickname and their antics. We scarfed down the food before they could see, and washed off the crumbs from our face and hands. We headed to the dining room and stood at either side of the door, heads down in submission and respect. The wolves piled into the room and started eating. At the end, everyone was getting ready to leave, but the alpha stopped them. “We have been invited to attend the blue-moon ball, it will be happening in 1 week, everyone shall be getting ready in that time.” He commanded. The bratty girls started squealing, the others nodding in respect, and Anna and Rielle and I were bowing and bearing our necks. The alpha dismissed us, and we scurried to our rooms. It was almost 9am, and I was sure that Luna would want me in her room for the fittings. I hurried over to her room and knocked on the door. It swung open and I flinched in surprise. Luna engulfed me in a hug and pulled me inside. I yelped in surprise and slight fear, and she stopped. “Sorry, dear, I’m just so excited.” She apologized. “N-no no! I-it's okay, y-you don’t need t-to a-apologize…” I stuttered out. She chuckled at my shyness, and led me to the bathroom. “Dear, I need you to take a shower to wipe off the grime, can you do that?” she asked. I nodded and she smiled. I walked to the shower and stripped down. I turned on the tap, and got in. After a few minutes, I was done. I walked out and dried myself off. I saw a set of clothes with a note saying they were for me to change into. I changed into them and smiled. I walked out and saw a group of people. I saw Luna talking to them, and I stayed silent. Luna saw me and squealed. “You look so cute!” she exclaimed, earning a slight flinch in return. She walked over to me and pulled me to a rack of dresses. “We need to choose which dress you’ll be wearing for the ball. Come choose.” She smiled. I nervously looked through the dresses, but Luna said they didn’t suit me. She stopped at one dress and looked over. “This one.” she said, holding up a beautiful silver-blue dress with a rose. They helped me into the dress, and did my hair.

I looked at it in awe. “How do you like it?” Luna asked. “I-i l-love it!” I exclaimed. They smiled and adjusted the dress with pins to best fit and flatter me. They helped me out of it and I changed back into the clothing Luna had left in the bathroom. I was led out of the room and Luna led me to another room. “Where are we going?” I asked. “I had the alpha give you a bedroom better than your current one, so I’m leading you there to rest. You seem tired, and I want you to be well rested for the ball. I’ll be having someone else cover your chores for when you’re with me, okay?” she asked. I yawned and nodded slowly. She smiled and opened the door to a beautiful room. I gasped in surprise, and she looked at me. “Are you okay, dear?” she asked worriedly. “F-fine, j-just not u-used to s-such a-a room…” I stuttered out. She led me inside and helped onto the bed. “Have a good rest, sweetheart.” she said quietly. I smiled and fell asleep.

Kylian’s POV:
I was in my office, working. ‘Oh how I love paperwork.’ I thought in spite. It had been 8 years since I first turned 18, and I hadn’t found my mate yet. ‘Where are you mate?’ I thought sadly. I sighed and stood up. I walked out of the office to see servants bustling about, getting everything ready for the ball. It was in two days, and everyone was stressed. I walked out of the palace and headed to the forest. I stripped, shifted, and grabbed my clothes in my teeth. I put it in a tree trunk and darted off in the direction of the lake nearby. I ran into a field of flowers with a large pond in the middle of it. I rolled around in the flowers and grass, and gave a wolfy chuckle. I finished rolling around and bounded into the pond. The water soaking my fur and making it heavy. ‘I sense mate coming to attend the ball in a few days!’ he barked. ‘Really?!? Thanks so much soren!’ I exclaimed, my eyes wide. I leapt onto dry land, shook my fur dry, and ran back to the palace. I shifted and hurriedly put on my clothes. I ran inside the palace and looked for my family. I ran into the royal quarters and called my family. “Yes Kylian?” my father asked. “Mywolfsaysmymatewillbecomingtotheball!Ifinallygettoseeher!” I shout in a rushed and excited voice. “Slow down darling, say it again?” my mother said. “Okay… My wolf says my mate will be coming to the ball, so I finally get to see her for the first time ever!” I exclaim happily. Their eyes widened and they toppled onto me in a hug. “Congrats brother!” Sierre, my sister, said. I smiled at my family’s antics. You’re not any less excited than they are and you know that.’ Soren huffed in my mind. I chuckled and picked up Sierre and Ash, my brother. They squealed and giggled.
