Jin is gonna be Korean but lived in America since he was 10.

I put a tag saying Korean fanfic, but it's like based on an idea I got from a Korean movie.

Jin's age now: 29 years old

~~~~~~~
I was riding on my sports bike (motorcycle) down the road here in South Korea, off to my job as a detective. I'm not the typical cop, especially with the background I have. I joined the military at age 18, and got out on medical discharge at age 22, due to a bullet hitting my leg.
It wasn't enough to keep me out, but they didn't wanna risk it. Then I trained and became an MMA fighter up until the age of 27 when someone came up to me saw my background and wanted to know if I wanted to become a detective in South Korea. Was it ethical? Without a college degree in law? Probably not, but they saw potential, and I needed a job that paid regularly and was not based on wins.
However, I knew right from wrong, common sense, and a few basic laws as I had studied some since being offered. I made it to the police department and walked in, helmet in hand and a few people stared. "Jin! In here," the guy said and I walked in, bowed saying hello.
"Please, sit down and let's talk," he said motioning to the chair in front of his desk. I nodded and placed my helmet on the table near the door and sat on the chair. "Seok, who will be here any second will be your partner," he explained and a guy came walking in, I tugged at my jacket and tried to make myself presentable. I quickly got up and bowed, he followed in the action but stood straight back up.
"Seok this is Jin, he will be your partner, and since you are two years older than he is and you've worked longer," the guy said, "I have rank," he nodded, I groaned mentally, his hair was neatly put back, unlike mine, but that's not the main point. He is professionally dressed and I'm in black slacks and a white shirt with a leather jacket that's hiding tattoos.
I got full sleeve tattoos, when I was offered he was aware of them. "Well let's get started," Seok said pulling me from my thoughts. I nodded and followed him out "we have a domestic abuse case, wife gone missing and husband is the main suspect, and his brother doesn't wanna speak," I got in his unmarked crown, Vic.
"Not even with a lawyer?" I asked staring at the file, wife 30 years old, prior calls to the department. Sister called when she didn't answer or showed up for a visit. "Not even with a lawyer, so we gonna go question them since he won't for the police," I nodded closing the file.
"So what did you do before this?" Soek asked, my eyes scanned the area, "military and MMA," I responded and looked over at him, his face kind of neutral but there was a raise to his brow. "That's cool," he said "military police?" He asked in greater detail, I hummed "not quite, army," he nodded.
We pulled up to a house, the lawn wasn't neatly kept but spotty at the best. "First day on the job, and I have a bad feeling," I got out closing the door behind me, following kind of behind Seok but next to him, if that makes sense.
Seok knocked on the door, and the brother "Hyun, we would like to ask you a few questions about your brother's wife," Seok said calmly, but I was quick to act when the door was about to be slammed, "kindly not do that again," I pushed past.
Seok grumbled but didn't fuss about the way I did it. "Have a seat," my hand motioned to the couch, which I wouldn't even place myself down on, not even wanting to know what those stains are. "You don't have a warrant," Hyun aggressively said, I scratched my head "no warrant for questions," I pulled out my notepad and pen.
"Two weeks ago, chae-Yeong, your sister-in-law went missing," he nodded, "your brother is the prime suspect, which means you are the sub suspect," I say twirling my pen through my fingers, watching him. "Sub suspect? What?" Even Seok was confused. "Meaning if your brother, Seung doesn't tell us and he hasn't, your the next person to know," I place my pen to my lips. Then forward to him, "therefore making you suspect," I clicked my pen.
"Meaning you know," he swallowed "and what I can't seem to understand, mind you I'm new, but I don't understand why a man," I stand up Seok watching me, confused and intrigued. "Would let another man, blood-related, another man lay a hand on a woman!" My voice rose on the last word.
He jumped, "now I was raised differently, maybe you weren't along with your brother," he finally spoke "I have no idea what happened to her! My brother snapped and that's all I know," he said sweating bullets, "you sure?" I added and he nodded furiously.
"If your lying..." I continue to say as I walk out with Seok. "What?" I say as we got in the car, he was silent for the whole thing. "What did you do?" He questioned.
