Chapter Two

Hey, everyone I went back and added some things to chapter one. This chapter might be confusing without the extra information

- Shade Shadows

Solar carries me to the kitchen and sets me down. I turn to face the table to see two pairs eyes looking at us.

"Are you sure they're not together?" Emily asks Dove.

"Yup" She says taking a bite of bacon.

"Well we need to get dressed because I want you to meet another person that knows of project AK" Emily says. We nod and eat quickly then go get dressed. Emily has taken care of us for almost three weeks now so she took us shopping. I put on my purple shirt with a white bleeding heart, black leggings, and my ever present jacket. I walk downstairs and put on my pink Camo boots. I grab a purple beanie and put it on to conceal my black wolf ears.

Dove walks down in light blue jeans and a artificial paint spattered shirt, her jacket around her waist, and a pink beanie covering her white ears, she grabs her black boots.

Solar walks down with his black jeans, dark orange shirt around his neck, his orange beanie in his mouth, and his jacket thrown over his shoulder.  

Dove and I burst into laughter, he looks at us, one ear up the other down, showing his confusion, " they say girls take forever to get dressed," I say through my laughter.

    "Shut up, Shade" he says after he put his jacket and beanie down to fight with his shirt. I walk up to him and grab his jacket and beanie, and set them on the table. I grab the shirt and pull it down. I walk back to my seat and sit down while he puts on his beanie, jacket and shoes. Once that's done, we walk outside to the car and climb in.

We drive down the long path to the quiet little town and drive past the trees and the grocery store, the post office and the furniture shop. We leave town and go to a cliff about a mile away, somewhere no one goes to. A girl about our age is sitting under a tree reading a book. Solar, Dove, and I walk over to the edge of the cliff and sit down, our feet dangling off.

"You're going to fall" a sweet high pitched oh so familiarvoice says behind us. We push our feet against the rock and jump, our wings unfolding from their place as tattoos on our backs. We pull up and turn, daggers in hand.

"For the love of God where were they?" Emily exclaims at us, "and get down here"

"Why is she here?" Solar growls, all three pairs of eyes never leaving the woman who was part of our torture, Lilith Cisco.

"Come down here and I'll explain" Emily says. "Shade, Solar, Dove get down here now." She says, her voice rising with each word. We softly land on the edge of the cliff. My eyes never leave Cisco, standing with her black hair in a high ponytail and a smile on her face.

"Give" Emily says holding out her hand. We hand the daggers to her and she puts them at her feet.

"You promised you wouldn't give us back" Dove says from beside me, "we trusted you."

"I'm not handing you over, Lilith wants to be free like you." Emily says, "she's going to be staying with us."

" Hell no, I'm not staying in the same house as her, she made our life hell, she gave them the idea to make Solar and I watch Dove fight a failed bear alligator cross, that nearly took her foot off. She still has the scar on her ankle." I shout.

" Shade give her a chance and watch your language."

"Fine" I mumble crossing my arms.

"I did what I did to survive, they told me if I worked with them, they wouldn't replace me when you three where submissive , they would put me on your team when we were ready to become the secret weapons for when a war broke out. We were meant to be placed as the president's adopted children  so we could protect him.
