This is Yugi Muto, The King of Games of His time. And he was called here by his Biggest Rival, Seto Kaiba, who challenged him to a Duel, but also wanted to test something new he was developing for the world, and wanted this duel to be the Final test before it is released worldwide.
Yugi: I wonder what it is Kaiba wants to test using our Duel.
???: Who knows Yugi. What I do know is, knowing Kaiba, it's going to be Big!

This is Yami Yugi, a spirit residing inside Yugi's Pendant hanging around his Neck. Said Pendant is referred to as the Millennium Puzzle, and it allows the two Yugi's to switch Minds with each other whenever they desire, which they do at the start of almost every duel they have played, with Yami Yugi being the one Dueling, making it a question of if Yugi is the King of Games or if it's Yami Yugi... But no one in the Series asks this question (except Kaiba near the end of the Series, but we aren't there in the Timeline yet).
