Eric

"Didn't I fucking tell you to set the meeting tomorrow and not today?" I shouted at my useless assistant.

"I-i-i am s-sorry sir." He stuttered in fear, bowed down and apologised. He was beyond scared. But it was his own fault.

"How fucking irresponsible can you even be?" I asked him totally exhausted. I could loose one of my most important deals because of him. And what would he do about it? Just tell a god damn sorry!

"Th-th-this is the l-last time sir." He had tears in his eyes by now. I would have fired him long ago. But the only reason I am still tolerating him is because I owe his mother a lot. She took care of me once, when no one was with me. Forget the details for now.

"Go and book a damn ticket for me right now. And don't you dare miss the correct date or time Matt, else you are fired!" I told him with a straight face.

I wasn't gonna fire him. But he wouldn't mess up after this atleast.

I quickly opened the drower of the night table from beside me, took out a tablet for headache and quickly gulped it down with the help of the glass of water which was in my hand by now.

I sighed and closed my eyes. Either I am gonna end up killing Matt one day or someone else. But I am surely gonna have blood on my hands soon if he doesn't stop being this much of a trash.

I was ready to leave now for the airport. I quickly told Matt to put my luggages in the car and we soon left from the hotel. Even here I was for a business deal, which was funnily set by Matt a day later than he was supposed to. Which ended up me missing my son's parents teachers meet and him being sad as well as angry from me.

I hate three things the most.
Making my son disappointed or angry.
Being unpunctual.
Matt.

My son is seven and I am twenty eight. Aside from my mom and dad, my son is my only family.

I had gotten married to my husband when I was 21. We had loved each other from college and just knew it that we were meant to be together. We then adopted Kevin, our son, when we were 23 and he was 2. My husband was only four months younger than me. And we were perfect then. The perfect family I could have ever dreamt of. Until I lost my husband in a car accident an year later. Kevin was 3 and was with us for just an year, but he was still affected the most from it.
I was too, but I got hold of myself for Kevin, he needed me.

"Sir, we seem to be having a problem." The driver suddenly spoke, bringing my attention from my thoughts to himself.

"What is it?" I asked, already getting irritated.

Uggh Monday sucks.

The driver got off the car after bringing it to stop slowly and a couple minutes later replied, "There's seem to be having a problem with the rotors sir."

"How much time will it take to fix them?"

"Minimum 30minutes to an hour, if we have all the correct equipments, which we don't right now."

[A/n : I don't have any idea about these, so excuse me if I'm wrong lol.]

I sighed. I didn't have that much time.

"Matt, bring my bags. We are taking the train."

I quickly exited the car and was thankful that the car started acting up just near a station.

After reaching the station, I quickly called Kevin to inform him about my change of plans.

I could see Matt struggling behind me, but I was livid by this point to even care.

"Hello? Dad?" My irritation already got soothed away by half just after listening to my son's voice.

"Kevin, I am returning home tonight. Don't stay awake till late or give your grandma or grandpa any trouble, ok darling?" I always automatically get a smile on my face if its Kevin.

I heard him giggle on the other end of the phone before he spoke. "Yes dad. I am not being naughty."

I chuckled.
"Of course you won't be, after getting a dozen of cookies from your grandma."

Kevin gasped and continued, "H-how did you know? Did grandpa tell you?"

I laughed at that and said, "No baby boy, your grandpa loves you more than me to snitch behind your back. I just know. Anyways, see you later. Take care"

"Take care dad."

And with that I cut the call.

But the moment I looked at my phone instead of my front, I bumped into someone and heard a small thud.

I looked up worriedly to see who got hurt, but my eyes stopped when I saw the person infront of me. He was wearing casuals, but he looked so beautiful. His blue eyes with a few light strokes of gray in them seemed like they were pulling me towards them. His lips were small and full, not so much, but weren't thin too.

I smirked a bit when I saw that he was staring at me too. He looked cute with the slight blush on his face.

"You okay?" I asked finally.

But got no response, so I called out to him again.
"Sir?"

After finally giving him his phone back and taking mine with me, we parted our own ways. To be honest, I wanted to know him more. If not much then atleast just talk once again. Remembering how his voice had sounded, not feminine but soft like feather, as if he would be punished if he would speak even a bit louder. I could already feel a small tent growing in my pants, but then I suddenly remembered about the meeting and how late I was.

So I quickly pushed this adorable boy's thoughts aside and increased my speed after checking up on Matt once about whether he was following me or not.

I was anyways not gonna meet him again ever after leaving the country permanently.
