A chef late to his café.
A CEO late to his flight.
And a phone exchange.
What will happen when their worl...
I had finally boarded the flight, with Matt sitting behind me. For some reason he had booked his seat exactly behind me instead of sitting beside me. Guess he was too scared this time, with me warning him about getting fired was the cherry on the top. But as harsh as I may sound, I couldn’t care less right now.
I sat down comfortably, resting my back and sighed after closing my eyes. I decided I could use a few hours of sleep to take a break. And that’s what I did.
After waking up, I drank a bit of water and looked behind me only to find Matt playing a video game on his phone. I really wonder whether he’s just a kid sometimes. I shaked my head, deciding not to tell him anything about it and turned back.
I then decided to read a bit of news on my phone to pass time. I took my phone out from my pocket and turned it on. But frowned when I saw the lock screen wallpaper of a sleeping cat while holding a duck plushie. Whose phone was this?

Lockscreen wallpaper Eric found on the phone.
I held the phone on my left hand and checked my pockets once again, but found nothing. So I finally turned back and decided to ask Matt about it.
“Matt?”
In a shock he almost lost balance of his phone which resulted in him fumbling it in his hand so that he doesn’t drop it. He looked at me with slight wide eyes and continued, “S-sir?”
I frowned but decided to ignore. “Have you seen my phone?”
“N-no sir, I don’t have it.” He frantically shaked his head as if I was accusing him for it.
“I see.”
I sighed once again and turned back. I once again looked at the phone I had in my hand and suddenly realised that from outside it looks exactly like mine. I tried to remember about all the incidents happened today, and that’s when it hit me. My phone must have gotten exchanged with the man I had bumped earlier on the station this morning.
I closed my eyes in irritation and held my head with both my thumb and my forefinger, trying to ease my headache even a bit. Please tell me I can kill Matt right now…
To confirm the exchange I decided to give a call to my number. But I was beyond irritated by this point, I could do that after reaching home once anyways.

I had finally reached the café. I opened the door to step inside and an automatic smile came to my face as soon as I smelled the faint aroma of fresh cookies and coffee.
“Hey boss” Sarah greeted me from the cash counter.
“Hey Sarah, you are doing that again. You know you don’t have to call me that right.” I gave her a look but with a smile, I wasn’t serious or angry on her for something this small.
