It's October, and the spooky season is just around the corner. Shops are selling terrific masks, and costumes for everyone in Vancouver. At this time of the year, the rates of crime rises, especially murders. There has just been one by Gorilla Alley, and Bernie is heading there, right now.

He arrives at the crime scene. The place is a construction site, and it's filled, and surrounded by police. The construction of an office building lies between a brick wall, and another office building. The brick wall is covered in graffiti, and posters. Along the wall there is an alley. Bary walks by the alley, heading towards the victims position, and meets Jakob who is already there. The speedster greets him with a broad smile, one that he rarely wears. The cop looks at him surprised, and happy to see him so smiley.

"Why so happy?" Jakob asks as he directs Bernie to the body.

"Nothing." Bernie replies causally, looking down in order to hide his great happiness. The cop smiles, and presumes that he'll tell him later what's going on.

"Okay, I'm going to head back, I need to fill some papers." Jakob mentions, and leaves. Out of nowhere, Luna comes up to Bernie. The forensic scientist looks at her in surprise, and looks back at the body.

"Do we know who this guy is?" He asks the girl while observing the body, and looking back at her. She nods, and responds.

"Yeah, apparently his name is John Marks, he worked here as the manager of the construction site." The speedster informs him with a smile. Before Bernie can respond, they get interrupted by Mark Glace, the Detective on the case.

He approaches them, feeling as if his head is about to explode. He looks very angrily at Bernie, and Luna. Both speedsters look at him confused by the expression displayed on his face.

"What are you doing here? You aren't supposed to be here!" He exclaims, trying to keep down his voice. Luna only rolls her eyes, and looks at the forensic scientist. The scientist shakes his head slightly in annoyance. Soon the girl does the same.

"Look, I already told you, I'm here helping Bernie." She responds as calmly as she can. The scientist starts smiling as this isn't the first time Mr. Glace interrupts his work alongside Luna.

"No, you're not. You're contaminating the scene." Mark complains.

"Look, Mr. Ice-cream, this isn't the first time. You should start getting used to it." She says with an annoying tone. Mark turns to Bernie who is examining the body. The speedster sees the detective looking at him, and his smile drops.

"Don't pull me into this." He says, raising his arms in surrender. Mark frowns at Luna, and leaves. Luna crouches next to Bernie, and looks at the body, analyzing it.

"Mr. Ice-cream, hehe." The speedster whispers to himself.

"What an annoying human he is." Luna comments, shaking her head. Bernie's smile returns as he hears her.

"Anyways, whatcha got?" She asks.

"Well, this was definitely done by something big, not a laser nor a gun. Something like a trunk or any solid circular object." Bernie explains the reason for the giant hole on the victim. Luna thinks about it, looking at the victim. She starts looking around for more evidence which would point at what killed this man, and then, suddenly, she sees a woman.

The woman has curly, reddish, long hair, and emerald eyes. She's talking to a cop in a black glittery dress. Luna keeps staring at her in astonishment, and suddenly their eyes meet. She looks at her eyes so deeply that her surroundings fade, and all noises quiet down. Everything around is a blur, the only thing in focus is her, the red head. Suddenly she feels a poke on her arm. She turns to see Bernie who's a little worried.

"Luna? Are you okay?" He asks. The girl just looks at him, and quickly snaps out of it.

"What? Yes, yes I'm okay." She says rapidly. Bernie's face softens a little in relief, thinking something was happening to her.

"You just froze there for a second. I called you a couple of times but you didn't respond." He explains. Her eyes direct themselves back to the lady.

"That woman is talking to the cop, maybe she knows something." Luna suggests, and they get up.

"Let's go talk to her." He says as he gets his bag up, and starts walking toward the lady. Luna immediately stops him with a panicked face.

"Wa-wait a second. You want to talk to her?" She asks with an unsure tone. Bernie looks at her confused, and nods, slowly.

"That's what you suggested, right?"

"Yes, but," she responds.

"Then let's go." Bernie says as he starts walking towards the lady again. This time Luna follows behind, shyly.

Bernie, and Luna come up to her as the cop leaves. The lady looks at both of them with a warm, and sweet smile.

"Hi, my name is Bernie Allen. We would like to ask you some questions." He says as he shows her his badge. The lady nods.

"I'm Rosaline, and I'm the one who called the police." She replies. She looks at Luna expecting a name.

"Me-uh, I'm Luna." She says, struggling to speak. The girl puts her hands in her pockets.

"So-um, what did you see when you got here?" She asks Rosaline.

"I was passing by, walking home from my show, and-" Rosaline starts explaining but Luna interjects.

"Your show?" She asks with curiosity.

"I'm a singer." Rosaline replies, and Luna smiles broadly. The lady smiles back, and continues speaking.

"So, I was coming back from my show, and I heard a loud roar. It was a deep voice like-roar. I ran after the sound, and saw that poor man, dead." She explains. The speedster nods, and asks her a question.

"What kind of roar? Can you describe it for me? What was it similar to?" Luna asks, and Rosaline blows out a short laugh.

"So many questions, well it was a combination between a bark, and a groan that sounded like a very, very angry dog." She replies with a sweet smile. Bernie looks at Luna in confusion.

"Well, looks like we should be looking for a werewolf." Luna jokes, looking at Bernie. He turns to Rosaline, and opens his mouth, about to speak but something catches his eye. Bernie reaches his hand to the shoulder of Rosaline. She doesn't move, but follows his hand with her eyes in horror. Bernie takes a black, short, thick hair from her shoulder, and takes it closer to his eyes, and examines it.

"This hair is animal, that's for sure." He says while putting the hair in a little plastic bag. Luna looks at him, and starts thinking. She looks back at Rosaline.

"If you need any more help, here's my number." Rosaline takes a paper out of her purse, and writes down her number. She hands it to Luna, and turns around to leave. As she's leaving, Luna's smile broadens. She puts the paper safely in her pocket, and looks at Bernie.

"I'm going to get to Blaze Labs, maybe we can find out who this hair belongs to." Bernie says, facing Luna. The girl looks over his shoulder, and sees the leather jacket man from the Art Gallery. He is leaning on the wall, and is staring at her, lost in thought.

"Okay, I will be there soon." She says as she walks towards the man, not separating her eyes from him. Bernie looks at her confused but decides not to intervene with whatever she's doing, instead he just runs to Blaze Labs.

Luna is curious what the man in the jacket has to say about his unsuccessful attempt to take the cube from her. As she starts walking towards him, he notices her, and slowly moves along the wall, through the alley, disappearing...
