This version of Nyx is similar to her Earth-616/Prime Universe counterpart. But there's a difference. Gaeaverse/Earth-61916 Nyx is one of the Elder Gods, making her one of Gaea's sisters, like her Mythology counterpart. This makes Gaeaverse Nyx the Elder Goddess of Night. Like with some of her fellow Elder Gods, Gaeaverse Nyx didn't degenerate to a Demon like with some of her fellow Elder Gods like Set the Serpent God and Chthon the God of Chaos, as Nyx doesn't see the point of doing so and she doesn't like this act of treachery.
Gaeaverse Nyx, unlike her Prime Universe counterpart, is not a villainess, but she's not holy good either. She's in the gray area, like with some others, unlike her sister Gaea, who's on the side of good. Though she appears sometime during day and dawn, Gaeaverse Nyx mostly appears during dusk and night, since Night and Darkness are her domain on Earth. She may be in the gray area, but that doesn't stop her from guiding helpless mortals back to their homes, and with Nyx guiding helpless mortals who are lost, it's a wonder why Nyx is worshipped and respected by many mortals.
Like with her Prime Universe and Mythology counterparts, Gaeaverse Nyx had many children. Like Thanatos, Hemera, Eris, Nemesis, Hypnos, Dolos, Apate, Oizys, etc. Some of her children with her consort, Erebus, and other children with other male gods from different pantheons, though few in number when compared to how many Gaeaverse Nyx had with Erebus. And like her sister Gaea, Nyx had, and still does have, unconditional love for all of her children, even those that Nyx had a more strainful relationship with. Which proved that she'll do whatever it takes for her children to be safe. Which even Gaea noted her sisters' compassion, despite Nyxs' reputation as a more ruthless Elder Goddess.

A/N: To be honest, I wasn't aware, at first, that Nyx existed in Marvel Universes as well. Since I learned about Marvel Nyx, I became a fan of her due to her character, her powers, and her story. But I was a bit irked by the fact that Marvel Nyx isn't one of Gaea's sisters in Marvel 616 like in Mythology. Then I asked myself. What If Marvel Nyx was an Elder Goddess? So I decided to make this one about Gaeaverse Nyx. From what you can see, Gaeaverse/Earth-61916 Nyx is basically a combination of both Marvel 616 and Mythology versions of Nyx, though I decided to make her a little different.
