Reluctantly, Reine drags her eyelids open, not ready to face the blistering heat again. She had been so exhausted that she had no dream as she drifted in unconsciousness. As much as her body begs her to continue resting, she knows she has an important mission to continue and she can't afford to waste time.
She is pleasantly surprised when she isn't met with the heat as her senses return to her, a welcoming coolness meeting her instead as she realizes she's propped against a tree blooming over her, offering her shade from the heat of the sun.
"Good morning, sleepyhead," a familiar voice says next to Reine, and she glances over to see Jimin moving to place her canteen to her lips. "Or should I say good evening? Small sips."
Reine nods, doing as he says and slowly sipping the water from the canteen. After a few, she pulls away, but he puts it back to her lips. "Yoongi is going to get more water for you. Finish what's in there."
"How is he going to find water in this place?" she asks as she sits, albeit painfully, as she takes the canteen from his hands and drinks more of it.
"I used to live here," Yoongi answers as he walks and bows to Reine. "I know my way around the place, Your Highness."
Reine tips her head in appreciation for his given respect as she manages to drink the rest of the water in the canteen. She feels slightly nauseous after not having anything in her stomach all day, but she focuses on breathing deeply so she doesn't vomit what she managed to get down.
"I'll go run and get some more water for you," Yoongi says, smiling at her. "Jimin here can manage catching some food for you, I hope. He may be a bit too inexperienced to do that, though."
"You're lucky we're in the presence of a Queen or I would take this canteen and shove it up your-"
"Jimin," Reine warns, and he clenches his jaw in a physical attempt to keep the last word of the threat from leaving his lips.
"I appreciate both of you helping me, but I don't wish to cause any semblance of discord between the two of you," she continues and Jimin laughs.
"First of all, we are not having any discord, Reine," Jimin explains as he pats her cheeks. She frowns at him.
"Secondly, you need to stop speaking like you have a stick up your ass," he says and Yoongi gasps, grabbing Jimin by the back of his neck and dragging him.
"Is this how you've been speaking to her when it was the two of you?" Yoongi asks, frowning as his muscles ripple in the effort to keep Jimin in his grasp, who is trying to break free from it.
"She loves it!" Jimin says, gesturing to Reine, who is watching them with annoyance dancing in her tired eyes. "I say something stupid and she gets angry with me. I laugh at her attempt to seem harsh, which makes her laugh and we move on with our day. We're like long lost siblings, her and me."
"I am your actual long lost sibling," Yoongi says, letting his brother go. "I'm your older long lost sibling and I say you need to have some more respect for our Master."
Reine blinks a few times, taken aback by the differences in their personalities.
"Besides, when she and I marry, she will become your sister and you need to learn to respect your family and not say such harsh things to her!" Yoongi exclaims and Reine's eyes widen in shock as Jimin laughs.
"Now look who's being disrespectful," Jimin teases and takes a step back, a knowing look on his face as Reine jumps and walks over to Yoongi, ignoring the general aches and pains in her body from the journey thus far.
"Listen well, Yoongi," Reine says, sticking a finger in his face as Jimin desperately tries to hide his laughing fit. "I am not going to marry you! How dare you speak of respect and in the same breath speak such nonsense."
