Hiyah Guys!!!! Sooooo I was updating my Naruto story wayyy to long so until it is updated I will give you this little one-shot and if you guys want to make a request I could try. *shrugs* Anywho (Doctor Who XD) I was going to make this an Alfred(America) story but I need this one to be a Ludwig (Germany). I am sorry id Germany is a little out of character but I wanted to make it sad and happy and just memorable. I don't own Hetalia or the characters. Sooo enjoy. ^_^ Oh and --->This _____ = your Name

"Ludwig..do you have to go?" I asked trying to hold in my tears but failing to do so. I was pretty much sobbing. "Please don't go Ludwig." "*sighs* You know I have to do this ____, its war I have to go to defend my country, just promise you'll wait for me." Ludwig said. "I promise." I replied but before he lefted and walked out that door for who knows how long she said. "Can you promise me you'll be okay and you will return home safe and alive." " I promise and don't worry I will write to you as soon as I can."

"Goodbye Lieben." Ludwig said and kissed you goodbye. It was full of love and you can tell he was trying to be gentle, but he didn't know how long it would be until he saw you again. He grabbed his bags and headed out the door with one single tear falling from his eye. "Goodbye." I whispered as I watched him leave. Be Safe.

It has been 5 months at war for Ludwig. He has written to ____ almost everyday. One day though he decided to send a letter with something important inside it. He just wishes he could be there to see her reaction. When the letter came. "Aww he sent me another letter. *opens it* What's this *holds a black velvet box*?" (Me: You know its coming XD)

---Letter---

Dear Lieben,

First I want to say I love you so much and I miss you like crazy.

"I miss you to Ludwig." I said

They said the war should be over soon and so far where doing great. I just want to be able to see you again. I have something to ask you and I can't wait to ask you this after I come home. Open the box please before reading ahead.

"Okay." *opens box* *gasp* L-ludwig?" *looks inside and there is a ring*

I have known you since we were kids. Then we dated and we have been dating for 3 years. I love you so much and I want to know will you marry me? If you said yes I will be back to see your smiling face and start planning. If you said No then I guess I don't know what to say. Until soon.

From Ludwig.

"I can't believe this. Ludwig how could you possible think I'd say no. As if." I placed the ring on and smiled. Come home soon.

Its been 5 days since the letter. "Ludwig said he was coming home today so I'm going to the base to pick him up." I said to my friend as she was going to watch my house for a while.

--Time-skip---

"Ludwig?" I asked looking around and seeing other people hug there wives and kids. I looked around and saw that famous blond hair. "LUDWIG!" I yelled catching his eye. He dropped his bags and opened his arms. I started running for him and jumped into his arms. He picked me up and swung me around and placed me down. We stared into each others eyes and started to lean in until we kissed. Once we pulled apart we heard clapping.

Everyone around us saw that and 'Awwwed.' "Ludwig....yes." "What do you mean? he asked. I showed him the ring and said "Yes." He picked me up and swung me around again and kissed me. "I Love you _____." he said. "I love you too." I replied. Its good to have him home.

I Hoped you liked it again sorry if Ludwig was a little out of character I'm not a Germany expert but it was still I used him since War...Germany...Fighting it makes sense. FYI Lieben=Love.
