I woke up the next morning to roses and a card next to my bed stand. I smiled at the sleeping boy next to me. He is so perfect to me. I love him so much. It will take time to forgive him for what he did though. I pick up the card and read it. I put my hand over my mouth when I read it and tears start flowing from my eyes.
"I NEVER meant to hurt you like I did. I know it's going to take time to forgive me. Take all the time you need. You mean the world and then some to me. It hurts me that I broke my promise and broke your heart. I'd do anything and everything to make it all better. I want us to be together a long time. I see a future with us. I couldn't believe it. He said those 3 words! Finally! After 2 years! He really does care for me. Yes, he screwed up BIG time. However , he fixed his mistake. This is one of the many things I love about my boyfriend. I just love him so much.
I've come to realize , love is not all about happily ever afters. It's about fighting through hell and sticking together through it all. Ashton and I have been through a pretty tough time in our lives , but now things are back to normal.
I love everything about Ashton. I love even the things he hates about himself. That's what makes him who he is. I couldn't stay mad at this cutie forever. I just love him too much.
I look over and see Ashton stretching. "Good morning." , he says in his raspy morning voice. That will be the death of me. I love his morning voice. "I forgive you and I love you too." , I say to him. "You do??" , he asks with his voice full of hope. "Yes I do." , I responded.
"You must have read the card huh." , he says giggling and blushing. Awww! So adorable! I smile at him in awe. "Yes I did and it made me cry." He frowns. "Princess , I didn't mean to make you cry." I wrap my arms around him and hug him tight. "No it was happy tears." , I admit. He looks deep into my eyes and tilts up my chin with his thumb, so, I could look directly at him. "I meant EVERY word I wrote in there." , he said , putting emphasis on every.
This was an "in the moment" kind of thing. I softly cupped Ashton's cheeks and pressed my lips to his. He closed the gap between us. He pulled me as close as possible to him and kissed me with full passion. We totally got lost in this kiss. It felt as if we were the only ones in the room.
As a cute/ funny way of getting out of the kiss , I tickled his sides. He laughed and giggled. This turned into a full on tickle war. I was squirming and laughing my butt off.
He hovered over me and pinned me lightly. He attacked me with kisses all over my face. "I think I won this tickle war." , he said with a smirk.
I lightly flipped us over to where I was on-top. I found all of his ticklish spots right away. I used that to my advantage. I smirked when I saw him squirming all over, laughing until he turned red.
"Would you 2 go be annoyingly cute somewhere else?! We're trying to sleep!!!!" , Michael yelled. I giggled and softly kissed Ashton. Luke woke up for a brief moment. "Good to see things are back to normal with y'all. Happy for you." , he said smiling. He then snuggled into Pengy and went back to sleep.
"Maybe we should be more quiet next time." , Ashton said grinning at me. "Yeah, just a little." , I whispered to him. He looked at me with total love. "I love you Hailey." I smiled and softly kissed him. "I love you too Ashton."
Looks like things are better than ever with Ashley now. Oh , and do NOT wake Michael up before he's ready to get up.
