The next morning, I woke up in a good mood. I changed into some fresh clothes, brushed my teeth then headed downstairs. Walking into the kitchen I saw a note on the table. The note said "Working, going to be home late, here is some money if you go out. Be safe, Love you - Mom"
I ran into my room putting on my shoes then grabbing the money and running out the door to my car. This morning I decided to go to IHop so I drove to the place which was like 15 minutes away. When I arrived, I walked in and sat at a booth ordering y/f/i/m (your favorite IHop meal). Just scrolling through my phone, I heard a group of people walk through the door. I looked up to see my friends from the skatepark, Ray, Ruben, Fourth Grade, and Fuckshit.
"Yo, what's up Y/n" Fuckshit said
"Hey Fuckshit" I said laughing
"Whatchu doing here by yourself?" Ruben asked
"Just felt like having a meal by myself"
"Cool" Ray said
The "gang" then finally sat down with me.
"Y/n, do you know Sunny likes you?" Fourth Grade asked me
"We weren't supposed to tell her that yo" Ray said, lightly punching Fourth Grade's arm.
"It's okay guys, I think I figured it out though" I said
"Really?" the group said at the same time
"Yeah, I think it was pretty obvious," I said
"Well, he better make a move, he's such a pussy" Ruben said
"Bruh" I said
"Well, I gotta get going. I'll see you guys later" I said, getting up and paying the waitress
Later that day I was just watching y/f/s (your favorite show) until I got a text.
Sunny :) yooo want to go see a movie my lady?
Me: Ouuu, yes, sounds like fun, what movie do u have in mind?
Sunny :) night of the living dead? The movie theater is playing old movies tonight
Me: Yeah fsss, what time does it start?
Sunny :) 8
Me: Okay sounds good
Sunny: i will pick you up around 7:40 if that's cool with you
Me: Sounds cool with me Sun
Sunny :) okkk, see you then
So, in that evening I went up to my room and picked out a cute dress to wear with some converse. I sprayed on some perfume then did some light makeup. After my final touches I heard the doorbell ring. I got my purse with some money and locked the door.
"Hello my lady," Sunny said, greeting me
"Hello sir" I said in a British accent
"Are you excited?"
"Hell yeah, this is going to be great"
"Let me get the door for you" he said, opening the car door
"Thank you Sun"
"Of course Y/n"
When we both got into his car we just started listening to some music, mostly rap because Sunny had the aux. I enjoyed it though, the windows being rolled down, and the sun going down.
"We have arrived," Sunny said, pulling into the moving theater
"Woah, this place looks really cool"
"Yeah it is, it was built back in the old days"
We both got out of the car and went up to one of the ticket booths. I was about to pull out my wallet until-
"Allow me, my treat" Sunny said
"You sure?"
"Yes"
"Alright, thank you Sunny"
"Anything for you"
I smiled at him then we both got our tickets. We headed inside and we saw all the cool lights surrounding the theater. We both started heading for some cool seats and we both sat down, not that many people here.
"Hey, you want some popcorn?" Sunny asked, whispering
"Uh, sure"
"Okay, I will be right back"
Right before you know it Sunny was back in no time and the movie was just about to start.
So, an hour into the movie Sunny reached over to my side and grabbed my hand. I smiled looking up at him. I rested my head on his shoulder enjoying the movie.
When the movie was finally over with we both headed outside to see it pouring down rain.
"Well damn" I said looking down at my outfit
"Don't worry, I gotchu" Sunny said, removing his hoodie and putting it over my head. "You ready to make a run for it?"
"Ready"
Then we both ran to the car and got in safely. We buckled our seatbelts then headed to my house.
When Sunny parked in front of my house I thanked him for this day.
"Thank you Sunny, really. This day was really nice with you"
"No problem, I enjoyed it as well. Come on though"
"What are you talking about?"
"Let's go play in the rain"
"You're serious"
"Yes I'm serious"
We both got out of the car and we both started singing and dancing to random songs that we both knew. Enjoying the rain and each other's company. We both took each other's hands and Sunny spun me around then he leaned in and kissed me. The kiss felt magical, like in a movie, the thundering in the background and the rain just pouring down. We pulled away, smiling at each other.
"Y/n, would you like to be my girlfriend?" Sunny asked
"I would love to" I said, pulling him in for a hug
Then after that sweet moment Sunny kicked a puddle of water at me.
"You bitch" I said laughing at him then running after him, chasing him for hours, ending the day just like that.
