Trouble Raising Trouble

Ch.6

Jihyo looked at her, "Okay, that's a step forward. When did you start feeling like this?"

Y/n: "Last night, well this morning around 1. I threw up, and the other maknaes helped me"

Jihyo sat up, "They said they had no idea what happened?"

Y/n: "I told them to not tell you guys. Unnie, I have a throbbing headache, I feel like I'm dying, I don't care to be doing anything, and sleep will be the only thing that can make my headache go away"

Jihyo: "Why didn't you want to tell us?"

Y/n: "Because...it's the right after a party, y'all would've thought I lied and got drunk or something. So I didn't want to risk it"

Jihyo sighed, "We would not have thought that. You told us you didn't drink. We believe you, we trust that you told us the truth"

Y/n looked up at Jihyo "I'm sorry" now moving closer to give her a hug,  "Am I in trouble"

Jihyo returned her hug, "No, but maybe we should get you off your phone for the rest of the day. You will use today as a rest day, so you know you can sleep, read books, and staring at a phone might hurt your eyes and it'll cause your headache to get worse. So drink more water, and we'll give you medicine"

Y/n nodded, relieved to be forgiven, "Fine by me. I'll play with Emily"

Jihyo: "Let's go inside, we can explain what's going on then you can go to Straykids' room and take a nap there. We'll stop by when we're done so we can help with Emily."

Y/n nodded and they both got up and went inside. Y/n apologized, explained that she basically feels like crap and walked out. Half way to the room she stopped, "It could've been on video! FUCK!"

Y/n ran to Itzy's room, and saw Yeji and Lia sitting down while the others were practicing a dance.

Y/n: "Hey can I talk to them real quick?"

Lia: "Yeah, that's fine. They need a break anyways"

Y/n smiled, "You guys making them dance alone as punishment or something?"

Yeji laughed, "No, they are gonna do a dance collab with another girl group. We aren't dancing"

Y/n: "Why not?"

Yeji: "We are dancing in another collab"

Y/n: "Oh that's cool, so guys come here"

They all stepped outside, and Y/n looked at them. "We're stupid. Us drinking could've been caught on video"

Ryujin shook her head, "No, our little bodyguard didn't let anyone near us."

Y/n: "We did?"

Yuna was just as confused, "Huh?"

Ryujin: "Oh yeah, so I guess I can remember my drunk night, but that's not important. But Hanbin came up to us, asked us if we could get in trouble for drinking. You said yes, and he prevented any videos of us being taken. He had us back into a corner near the back door. There was a wall that blocked one side and he just leaned against the wall and stopped anyone who tried to take a picture or video"

Y/n: "Aww that's so sweet"

Ryujin: "He promised not to tell anyone. He just wants to keep us safe, and then you got a little talkative. He admitted he had a boyfriend, you got excited, you met him, then came back and confessed your feelings to your crush"

Y/n froze...She fucked up. She definitely fucked up. If she said she had a crush on someone, that's Ryujin. But did she admit it drunk, is she that stupid? Ryujin is still talking to her, so it's not awkward. But what if she was just faking it.

Y/n nodded, "Okay okay. Well thank you for telling me that we are okay. I will go now"

Ryujin got a bit nervous, "Wait you don't want to know what happened?

Y/n walked away, "Nope. Keep it to yourself or I will crawl in a hole and die"

Y/n made it to Straykids room, they were laying down a blanket and a few others had blankets. Emily was falling asleep in Chan's arms, but he sat up, "Oh hey Y/n. We were just about to have nap time. But if you're leaving-"

Y/n: "Oh, no. We're not leaving. I was sent over here so I can sleep. I had a rough night so I'm down to join nap time"

Chan pulled out a blanket, "I have an extra, just turn off the light"

Y/n turned off the light and laid down on the couch, knocking out pretty quickly. She woke up to Mina waking her up and Sana packing the bag.

Sana: "Thank you so much, we'll take you out to dinner some time"

Chanbin: "It's no problem, we can babysit anytime"

Mina: "Okay, we can have you come by the house sometime"

Y/n got up, handed the blanket back to Chan and followed Mina and Sana out while carrying Emily.

Mina: "So how was your sleep?"

Y/n nodded, "Good"

Sana played with Emily's hand, "How do you feel?"

Y/n smiled, "A lot better"

The made it to the van, and the drive home was pretty quiet. Y/n handed Jihyo her phone, and it was a pretty chill night, Emily and Y/n were playing. She was laughing and everyone was just recording them together.

Y/n smiled as Emily was playing with her stuffed animal, "I can't wait for you to grow up"

Momo: "You'll be sad when she grows up too quickly"

Y/n: "True"

Jihyo: "So you never told us, how was the party?"

Y/n: "Fun, she got a lot of gifts. I met Hanbin's boyfriend. I also admitted I had a crush on someone"

Jihyo was a bit confused, "Wait don't you have a crush on Ryujin?"

Y/n slowly nodded, " My problem is, I don't remember admitting I have a crush, but Ryujin said I did. My next problem is...did I admit to Ryujin, I have a crush on her"

Jeongyeon looked around to see everyone confused, "How do you not remember?"

Y/n shrugged, "I don't know"

It all got quiet, and Y/n sighed. She could be in so much trouble for drinking at the party and for lying to them. All she is hoping is that they don't question her anymore.

Emily started to cry so that snapped Y/n out of her thoughts, and tried to figure out why she was crying.

Y/n looked around, "Nayeon unnie, can you please change Emily?"

Nayeon nodded, "Do you want me to be in charge of that?"

Y/n nodded, "Yeah, maybe I should assign roles for all of us"

Nayeon left with Emily and Jihyo looked over, "That's why there is a saying, It takes a Village"

Y/n laid her head back and just watched TV, Sana was playing with her hair. Nayeon came back and handed Emily to Y/n, so was adoring her little sister, "You got such a life ahead of you."

They all couldn't help but be proud of Y/n stepping up for Emily. While Y/n feels like a shitty role model for her sister, Nayeon was still feeling guilty for implying that she was, standing up, and gave Y/n a simple kiss on her forehead.

Y/n looked up and Nayeon smiled, "You're a good influence for Em, I'm sorry for saying you're not."

Y/n looked down at Emily who was asleep, "You're right though. I would be a bad influence on her, but I'll be better, I promise." Nayeon shook her head, "You're already better, the second you made up your mind to get custody."

Y/n sighed, "Thank you.."
