Many people would disagree on this but I do believe that "there's no religion that can save you" it is our belief that will save us. Our Faith in God in short. Because not everyone who goes to church really go there to absorbed everything that is said coz for the most part some just visit the church to say that they go to church but when in fact they are just physically present but mentally absent. I remember watching a scene on youtube about a rapture and that particular scene happened inside the church, so when the raptured happened only few were taken and some were left behind. So see? Not because you attend the church doesn't mean you are gonna be save. It doesn't guarantee you a place in heaven. What is in our heart and mind that will guarantee us that place. When you believe in God with all your heart and you praise him and you do what is right you have something to hold on to.
I remember at an early age I've been through a lot but despite all that, I am still here fighting. Had I not have God and my faith I wouldn't be where I am now, I probably would have given up in life a long time ago but I didn't because I have Faith! I believed that whatever I was facing during that time will passed and I will come out of it stronger than before.
Always remember when things get too hard for you to carry know that God is with you every step of the way. He will never leave you nor forsake you. What I usually do when it gets too heavy, I always remind myself that no matter how heavy for as long as I can still lift it and move forward then I will continue coz I know that at the end of that road its where my happiness is and my time will come. Not my will Lord but your will be done.
