Choices

"Life is not a series of chances, it is a series of choices."

My mom used to listen to this particular radio station whenever she was preparing breakfast for us back when I was in high school and this particular radio station, before they end their show they would tell that saying and let me tell you this saying has been with me for as long as I can remember. The moment I heard it back then it just got stuck in my head because it is so meaningful that the moment you analyze that saying clearly everything will make sense. Try looking back at the choices you made then and see if they did you good or not because honestly at that time that saying has been an eye opener. It made me realize a lot of things that I have done and where it led me. Up until now there are times when I would be quiet and sulk in the corner of the room thinking of the wrong decisions I've made that had a big impact on my life and where I stand now and for a moment I regretted it but then I thought this wouldn't have happened if I have been careful of my choices but it was too late cause what's said and done is un changeable and the best I could do is to do something that will correct it or in a different circumstance I'd make sure that I'll do better. Like I said life is a continuous process that we need to learn how to go with the flow and while going with its flow we have to learn how to survive it on our own. Life can be cruel at times and the major changes in our lives are the choices we made. In life there will always be a choice on things that we need to decide on. Yes or No basically. Learn how to say no. Why? Because not everything that comes your way are good so before deciding make sure that it is what you truly desire.
