I'm at my office and I still can't forget what happened yesterday

bakit pa siya bumalik? I'm not the marupok na Y/n that she used to know.

May tumatawag sa phone ko, it's Luke and Melly

Luke: Mga bading!

Amelia: bakit?

Y/n: Anong meron?

Luke: wala naman ano ginagawa niyo?

Y/n: nagtratrabaho malamang

My office door opened and they quickly ran towards me

"Diba may trabaho kayo? why are you guys here?" tanong ko sa kanila

"You're our number one priority" sabi ni Melly

"Well for now wala pa kasi kaming jowa chz" pabiro namang sabi ni Luke

"Pero seryoso are you okay? baka bumalik ka sa dating Y/n" Luke asked with a worried face

"Yes, I'm fine don't worry about me hindi na ulit ako magpapakatanga sa isang taong tulad niya" I smiled to let them know na I'm okay.

"Tama yan magfocus ka sa asawa mo" He said with an annoying face

"Anong klaseng mukha yan Doc Luke?" tanong ko

"nakakahulog na mukha" at nagpacute pa nga putangina

"ulol gago" sabi namin ni Melly

Jillian's pov at the Mansion

Time check 6:45 pm

Nagrereview ako for the board exam and I checked the time, it's already 6:45 na pala

shems ganon katagal ako nagreview?

Y/n isn't here yet, mamayang 8:00 pm pa siya makakauwi if she doesn't have other tasks to do.

My stomach growled kaya bumaba ako para kumuha ng pagkain.

habang kumakain ako, I heard ate Marie calling my name.

"Ma'am Jill andito na po si ma'am
Y/n!"

"Sige po bababa na po ako!"

Pagbaba ko ay nakita ko si Y/n sa living room

"Bakit ang aga mo? I thought mamaya ka pang 8:00 pm uuwi" I asked her

"Dad sent me home early, para makapagpahinga daw ako. Bakit ayaw mo ba akong makasama?" she said with a playful smile

shet grabe naman yung ngiti na yan

"hindi naman sa ganon, akala ko lang mamaya ka pa uuwi"

"Kain na tayo?" tanong niya sa akin

"Sure"

We're now eating dinner, while we were eating tinatanong namin ang isa't isa kung anong nangyari sa araw namin.

I didn't feel uncomfortable, fixed marriage lang 'to pero akala ko nga the person that will be paired with me is cold just like how rich people are portrayed in stories and dramas kaya medyo natakot ako at first but I was wrong.

I was comfortable when I'm with her.

-fast forward-

Time check 12:37 am

Nagrereview pa din ako pero I take short breaks din naman so naisip ko na magpahangin sa balcony

Still Jillian's pov at the Balcony

Nakita ko si Y/n sa Balcony

"Y/n bakit gising ka pa? is there something bothering you?" tanong ko sa kaniya

"Ah wala naman, ikaw bakit gising ka pa?"

"still reviewing I just wanted to get some air"

"I see"

"You can tell me what's going on in your mind naman, I'll listen"

she let out a deep sigh before talking

"It's my ex...bumalik siya dahil gusto niyang makipagbalikan sa akin" she bit her lip

"mahal mo pa ba?"

"hindi na, grabe yung naramdaman kong sakit dahil sa kanya. She cheated on me not once but 4 times, I gave her a lot of chances para magbago pero wala...ganon pa din" she gave me a fake smile

Y/n's pov

"eh ikaw? may ex ka ba or exes?" tanong ko sa kaniya

"Meron pero ex crush lang siya, nung hs days ko. He was my best friend since 7th grade, I was there when he was at his lowest pero hindi ako ang pinili niya. When I confessed my feelings for him, bigla nalang siyang lumayo. He transferred to another school and wala na akong narinig tungkol sa kaniya ever since that happened. Nakapagmove on naman na ako, I'm now ready to love someone again"

I listened to every word she said

"But my question is...kung handa ka nang mag mahal ng isang tao ulit, can I be that person?"

Nakita ko yung gulat sa mga mata niya.
