Shimi's POV
Now, Shimi had finished her work and had gone to a local cantina to get some water to quench her thirst, then when she had entered the cantina, she had seen a stranger, most likely a slaver because of the chain he was holding onto. That chain was attached to a young Togruta girl, who's eyes were glued to the floor.
"Poor girl," Shimi thought, "she is so despairing, I want to help her...but how?" Then it happened. "Hey, does anyone here know of a Shimi Skywalker?" Asked the slaver. "I do," she said, and the slaver whirled on her, and Shimi expected the worst. But it never came.Anakin's POV
"Come here," he said to his mother, "please, I have something to inform you about your son. Shimi froze. That got her attention. They, Shimi, Ahsoka, and Anakin walked out of the cantina. Though Shimi noticed an attitude change in the Togruta. Now she was ecstatic. "As I said before, I have something to inform you about your son," Anakin said.
"What is it," Shimi said, eager to know the information.
"It's just that, your son has become one of the most powerful knights in the Jedi Order," Anakin said, "And he was the one who nearly killed me and my slave here," here, his voice took on a bitter tone, "He crashed my ship here, and is on Tatooine somewhere now, isn't that right, Asmenoa."
"Yes, master, it is," Ahsoka, or Asmenoa as Anakin called her, said.
"Now, let's go and talk about this more," Anakin said.
"You're not a slaver, are you," Shimi said, crossing her arms.
"Now why would you say that," Anakin said smoothly.
"I saw the lightsaber on your belt," Shimi said back just as smoothly, and was delighted to see that the man appeared shocked, confirming her suspicions.
"If you think I'm a Jedi," Anakin said, then lowered his voice to a whisper, "then you are correct."
