Sophie's POV
I was dreading going to school the next day. I knew Michael was going to be there and I knew if I saw those beatify green eyes I would fall again and give in. But is it bad that I wanted to. I wanted to forgive him and kiss him and hug him, but another part was telling me to just ignore him until it all goes away. Till he finds someone new and gets over me and just leaves me alone. Because he will find someone else, someone prettier, someone who can fully like him without being insecure and bullied, someone he can like and not worry about protecting from some douchebags.
But I went anyways. I had Ashton to my right with Harrison on my left and Joe on his left. When they got to the school Joe gave Harrison a quick kiss before rushing forward to his group of jock friends who were walking inside the school.
"You ready?" Harrison asked looking at me
"As I'll ever be" I sighed
"We'll be by your side the whole time" Ashton gave me a reassuring smile before we started walking to the school. We walked up the steps to the school opening the door and walking in the hallways. People looked over whispering and laughing as I shrunk in on myself more.
"Ignore them" Harrison whispered to me, we got to my locker opening it and grabbing my stuff before going to Harrison's then Ashton's and froze when seeing Luke.
"Hi Luke" I smiled small
"Hey Soph" he smiled happily that I responded
"Oh my god Sophie!" Calum exclaimed running up and hugging me "I'm so sorry I wasn't there to comfort you, and that I just stood there" he muttered into my shoulder while my arms were around his neck
"It's ok" I smiled slightly
"I was on the wrong side of the war, I'm sorry" he smiled sadly pulling back
"It's fine, I promise" I chuckled.
Ever since Calum found Trevor attractive at that restaurant him and I have been really close. We've told each other a lot about each other, and we always snuck out when we were bored and just got ice cream. Those nights were always fun. We would text each other and say we're bored and we would sneak out going to meet at the ice cream parlor between our houses that was open 24/7. We always talked for hours just telling each other secrets and other stuff that was random. We always seemed like a couple but he likes Trevor and I somewhat like Michael, in a confusing complicated way. Besides Ashton I would say I'm closet to Calum which is weird because, I somewhat dated Michael, and Harrison and I have so much common, but we were weird and nothing is ever normal within our group.
"Slut" someone coughed as Calum and I stopped hugging
"You better shut your god damned mouth before I break it" Calum growled
"Oh I'm so scared" the guy mocked faking a scared look as his friend laughed
"Just leave, you prick" Luke rolled his eyes getting up off the lockers
"I'm just pointing out the truth, she only hangs out with guys and she's probably banging all of 'em" the guy snarled
"Don't ever talk to her like that again" someone behind him growled making the guy and his friend turn around and see a very pissed off Michael.
"S-sorry" the guy stuttered quickly walking away with his friend. Michael glared at him as he walked away. I slouched in on myself moving back a little as Harrison stepped in front of me.
"Sophie please just let me talk to you" Michael said trying to see around Harrison
"She doesn't want to talk to you" Harrison said protectively
