Chapter 9

Zachariah P.O.V

I woke up in the middle of the night because I had a feeling something was wrong. Quickly I slipped out of bed and walked through the house looking to see if anything was wrong. Nothing seemed to be out of place but then I checked Jasmina’s room, see wasn’t there. Instantly I started to panic, I then remembered that she had fell asleep in the living room . That calmed me down slightly but  I needed to make sure. Slowly I crept down the stairs and walked into the living room but I was not by the overwhelming vanilla cinnamon scent that usually follows her, the room only had a faint smell of it. 

I could feel my Alex going crazy

‘Where is she! We need to find her NOW!’, he demanded as he pushed to be let out. I can’t believe the lion pride found out about her already. I thought we still had time to get out. But it doesn’t seem like they toke Arie or Damien would have been feeling like I do right now. I was trying to figure out what to do when the front door started to get banged on.

“Someone let me in!!”, I heard Arie yelling on he other side of the door. I open the door and am meet by Arie looking stressed, “She is gone! They have her! Man when I find out who did it they are going to die at the hand of my newly found shifter skills and my bat! We need to find her now!”

“I know.”

“Then why in the blue hell are you sitting here moping when your mate is in the hands of a bunch of lions we don’t know what they might do to her! We are going to find her and we need to do it fast. Because if we don’t and something bad happens, let just say it is you I will be the one at the end of my bat along with those Lion bastards.”

She was right, I needed to stop moping and do something or I might not be able to save my mate and Alex was not having that. 

“How are we going to find her?”, I asked but I think I had a pretty good idea on how.

“We need you to follow your instincts. You are most connected  to her because you are her mate.”, she said.

“Okay, go and tell Damien what has happened and tell him that I might need him so to follow my scent.”, I said.

Arie nodded and raced up the stairs to Damien’s room while I shifted into my Jaguar form and lets Alex take over. Once I let my instincts take over my vision sharpened darasticly as I saw a red ribbon that lead out of the the back door. Without any hesitatation I busted through the door and followed the red ribbon that was Jasmina’s scent. 

I ran until I got back to the school, at first I was confused but I didn’t dwell on it.

I need my mate!

Jasmina P.O.V

I woke up feeling like my whole body hurt. Slowly I opened my eyes and saw that I wasn’t at home anymore. It looked as if I was in a leaky basement somewhere. When I tried to get up, my arms couldn’t move. Looking up at them they were chained to the wall I was sitting by. Now the two questions that I had:

1)Where the hell am I?

2)How the hell did I get here?

I soon started to try and get out of my bounds when I heard a deep sinister chuckle come from a door that stood in front of me. Standing in the door stood a handsome boy not much older then me with blond hair and hazel eyes but his expression did not help his looks at all, his whole aura was evil making him unable to be cute or attractive in anyway.

“Hello, little kitten princess.”, the boy said looking my body up and down looking as if he was have a very active imagination.

“Excuse me, sir. My eyes are up here.”, I said motioning to my eyes. He just laughed as he moved his eyes to meet mine.
