'Let's sleep for now' He said, eyes red. 'Sure, but where?' I asked. 'With each other!' He said, clapping his hands. 'Theo! You're very sleepy. No joking.' I said, firmly. I felt guilty, when he hung his head. 'Aww baby, don't be upset. I'm right here, okay?' I said, smiling and hugging him. 'Ok~!' He exclaimed.
'Di, wake up. Di' I heard Theo say as I woke up from my dream. 'You up?' He asked as I sat up, rubbing my temples. 'You don't remember what happened last night, do you?' He asked, an uncertainty visible in his voice. 'No, not really. Why?' I asked. He simply smiled and caressed my cheek. 'Theo, what happened last night?' I demanded. He hesitated. 'Someone came over last night. A police officer. Usually they let everyone leave alive..' He trailed off. 'But?' I asked. '...But I guess they decided to change their "usual". You were there, just knocked out from what you had witnessed.' He said.
I went black. Like my emotions had been turned off.
'I tried saving him, Di. I really did. But to them, I'm just a mere human.' He said, putting my face against his chest. 'It's alright. It's not like you could've stopped them.' I said, hugging him. 'Hell is empty. All the monsters are here. In this very house. And we need to leave. Soon.' He said. I nodded my head in agreement. We stayed like that for a while, wanting to get out of there.
'So how do we get out?' I asked. He gave me a puzzled look. 'What? You did it!' I said. 'That was with their permission, Di. Just to get that permission, I almost died each time.' He said, chuckling. 'Are you crazy?!' I whisper-shouted, hitting his arm. 'You could've died trying to meet me, you dumb head!' I exclaimed. He laughed and pulled me into a hug. 'It was all worth it. 'Cause I got to see you, each time.' He said.
And that was all it took for him to cause butterflies in my stomach. I still managed to refrain to smile and kept on a poker face.
He noticed it and said. 'Aw, is my baby mad at me?' He asked, pecking my cheek. I pouted and nodded. He hugged me. 'Now?' He asked, again. 'Yes'
Then, he kissed me, I somehow kissed him back but not completely. 'Now?' He asked. 'Yes'
This time, he picked me up and placed me on the bed, so gently. Almost as if he was afraid he'd break me. He hovered over me. 'Now?' He asked with a smirk.
Well, of course at this point I had became a tomato. All red.
I looked away, breaking the immense eye contact, but he held my chin and decided to stare into my soul. 'Now?' He asked again, gently. 'No. Now let me go.' I said. 'Oh, heck no. You're all red, and it's nice to see.' He said. 'That's not fair, Theo!' I whined, wiggling to try and stand up again. 'All right, all right. I'll get off of you.' He said and stood. I stood too. 'Let's go to the roof.' I suggested. 'Carefully.' He demanded. 'Of course.' I said and held his hand, intertwining our fingers.
