Chapter 1

'O.M.G ..Did you guys hear about the new hunk in college talk?' Joel asked practically yanking out the chair.

Me and my cousin Nikita were already half way through our sandwich.

'No Joe, apparently we joined the college this morning only.' I scoffed at her.

Joe always had a special affinity towards gossips..

I don't know how she manages to find these juicy matters within seconds.

'That's why I told you to join the gossipy group of our college.' She rolled her eyes at me.

Niki was listening to our banter while picking at her vegetable.

God this girl really hate her veggies.

Today is our first day at college. We're having lunch in the canteen after the welcoming ceremony.

'So yeah , I was saying there is this new guy joined in business department who's smoking hot;the group is going crazy over him for all day.' She said waving her hand animatedly.

'First every guy is a new guy in this college secondly I saw more than one hot guys around the campus.' Niki replied her.

'Boys crazy bitches, hurry finish your food.' I scolded them.

'Why, you don't want a handsome boy for yourself? ' Joe shoved my shoulder.

'Oh, she can't...she is already engaged to someone.' Niki said as a matter of fact way.

Joel looked at me prying for more juicy details.

I sighed and looked at the shiny golden ring on my finger

'Yeah like  I want to brag about something that happened when I was 15 years old..that too for a stupid reason.' I murmured.

'Seriously I don't know what Uncle and Aunty were thinking.' Niki said side hugging me..I know she was trying to comfort me.

'Me too...' I said badly wanting to change the subject.

My engagement was always a touchy subject between our relatives. Only my parents met my supposedly in-law family personally.

I still don't know why my parents allowed it..why allowed him to marry me.

My mom said something along the line 'he's good, darling.. he will take care of you very well and they are a good family.'

How they came in to the conclusion that a 15 year boy will take care of me is beyond my imagination..

I think my dad is a bit reluctant to this arrangement..

Sometimes I wonder whether they adopted me or not.

'Hey, snap out of it.' Joe said snapping her fingers at my face.

'Sorry' I said to no one in particular.

'Ishu, you know you can marry someone else if you want to, right...' Niki said looking at me in a supportive way.

'Yeah it's not medieval times anymore bitch...so chill down.' Joe added.

The thing is I can't think of another guy in his place.

Confusing much? Well that's me.

'I say you try it with this hot dude in bu....OMG..OMG..HE'S HERE.' Joe whisper yelled practically jumping from the seat.

Jeez obvious much..

'Calm down betch he will notice you.' I said facepalming.

'But he's coming in this way.....and he's looking towards you.' Joe said looking behind me.

I turned my head...

I could hear my heart beating in a way too loud manner.

I slowly stood up from my chair.

He's infact good looking , the mischief playing in his eyes is still the same as 5 years ago.

'Ishita..' he called me... by now he's standing in front me ..way too closer I think he can hear my heart beats.

'Abhay...How..what are you doing here?' I stuttered looking at him.

Seriously girl, stuttering? What a way to create good impression...

Why should I impress him again?

'To answer you I also joined in here today ..' he said looking at me intently..

I saw longing and something else in his eyes ..he looked at me same way when we first met 5 years ago..

'But why here? In this college? In this state? ' I asked. I was curious.

'Because I missed you...why you are not happy to see your fiance?.' He asked by taking my hand; the one in which his ring is on.

I heard gasps from Niki and Joel.

Yeah, meet my fiance guys ..
