It keeps coming back

Chapter 1

Kari POV

First day of school and everything seems normal so far, well school hasn't even started yet. Tai hasn't woken up yet, and to top it all off, the washing machine broke, but thats normal. "Tai! Hurry up, we're gonna be late if you don't wake up!" I had yelled. No response. I walk into his room, "Hello? Earth to Taichi Kamiya, wake up!" I take throw his sheets off his bed. "What the heck Kari, we still have like a week of summer left! Let me sleep!" Tai had groaned. "Tai, we had a week left of vacation a week ago, its time for sch-" I was cut off, suddenly I felt a shiver down my spine. Everything was freezing, from the air to the floor. "Tai? Do you feel that?" Once again, no response, "Tai wake back up this isn't funny. Tai I swear if this is a prank this isn't funny." Then suddenly all I heard was.."Kari...Kari..Help us...Kari" It kept repeating, I heard it everywhere, I couldn't pinpoint its location. "Tai? Tai if thats you, I swear. Tai, im scared please stop it." It just kept repeating my name, over..And over, and over , and over again. "KARI!" It suddenly got warm again, and the voice stopped. Tai had been holding me by the shoulders with a concerned face. "Kari, are you alright? You just stood there, it looked like you were glitching! Like in a video game." I had no words, I just stood there, trying not to cry. "I'm fine, lets just get to school.." Tai didn't believe me, but he knew I didn't wanna talk about it. "Alright, let me get dressed and we can head out." Tai said. I grabbed my bag and just sat, trying to calm myself down..what was that? Am I just hallucinating? No, I definitely felt and heard all of that..It felt familiar, like I had felt it before. "I'm done!" Tai yelled, I nodded and we both left. It was a quiet walk, no yelling, no talking, just silence. "Well, here is the Junior High building. Are you sure you'll be okay?" I knew Tai wad concerned, but I didn't want him to worry about me, "Yeah, I'll be fine, I have T.K, Davis and the rest of the team." I smiled, "Well if you need anything just call okay?" I nodded and ran into the Junior high building.
