"I can't wait to see you either!" I frown a bit, but quickly stopped knowing I'd see her the day after tomorrow. I missed Destiny and hadn't seen her since I visited Florida four months ago.

"Well, until then girl! Ugh! I just can't wait to see my baby!" She giggled. I grinned.

"Who is your baby?" I asked, eagerly. I heard her laugh some more then it was really loud as if the wind interfered with the call.

"Hear that?" She asked me. I turned shushing Naomi while she threw shirts in my face constantly asking me do I like them.

Then, I heard thump, thump, thump repeatedly. It was weird and I couldn't identify what it was.

"What is that?" I asked, curiously. I heard her sigh pleasingly.

"That's as loud as my heart beat bumps when I think of him." She gooed. I rolled my eyes, touching the hung up fabrics of City Trends.

"Who?!" I demanded to know, a hint of enthusiasm in my voice.

"Crawford, silly!" She laughed aloud. Then, I felt stupid. She'd had a crush on him for a while now. Three years actually. She talks about no other guy.

"Oh, right, duh." I said more so to myself. Then I saw Faye sigh and look at me.

"Oh, I'm shopping with Faye, I'll call you back later, I promise!"

"Oh yeah, sure, whatever, I'll talk to you later. Faye, I love you!" She screamed loud enough for Faye to hear. Faye grinned and yelled it back.

"Alright, girl, bye." I laugh at her silliness and hang up my phone. I went to Twitter and tweeted:

Miss my honey boo bear @DestinyJoyce ... Can't wait to see you in two days😢😊

And she quickly replied back:

I miss you too, love! Can't wait to see you! And I know someone else can't wait to see you too... @HayesGrier

Then, I replied with laughing faces until I was mentioned in Haye's most recent tweet. I found myself quickly unlocking my phone.

Hayes Grier tweeted:

I can't wait to see my girl @KailaMonroe , i missed my best friend. I just really can't wait😪

I replied back with a heart eyes emoji and tagged him in it.

I found myself grinning. And I hadn't realized I was grinning until Faye looked up at me and ask, "Why are you blushing?"

I ignored the question, however. But I knew why I was smiling. He was perfect.

Perfectly sweet, I suggested.

"Nothing, just can't wait to see Destiny." I lied. Well, I did want to see Destiny, but that wasn't the real reason I was smiling. Faye knew that was wrong and rolled her eyes, whipping her phone out. I chuckled.

"Really? Because you were just mentioned by Hayes Grier." She grinned. I rolled my eyes.

"Hey babe, I miss you so much! I can't wait to see you at the fraternity. I freaking love you..." Faye went on. I looked at her sarcastically.

"He did not put all that." I picked up a top. Faye walked over slowly.

"You guys make it seem like we love each other. Just. Friends."

"I'm glad you said that. Because..." She sighed, stepping closer. "I like him."

Okay, first, I felt this rage. Like complete madness. Then, I felt compassion, agreement and understanding. Then I felt it all together.

But lastly, I felt this weird stomach in my guts. Like the feeling you get when you're swimming, and you move upward wanting to feel the bottom of the surface of the pool. But, you feel nothing and quickly realize the water was deeper than you think. So, you have a small panic attack until you're on your tippy toes while the water is at your chin.

It was that crazy.

But I just looked at her and smiled.

"Really?" I bent down, pretending to tie my shoes to hide my face from her eyes.

"Really! I think I started once I met with him in my youtube video for the second time. First time, not so much. He was so dashing, charming and sweet."

"That's really cool." I stood up straight admiring my quickness.

"Okay, and your completely okay with this?" She asked me, eyebrows raised.

"Trust me, I'm fine." I grab her shoulder and smile at me. She genuinely smiles back, so I turn around and continue shopping while she rants on about my wonderwall, Hayes.

"I got room 630? What'd you get?" I asked Faye as we sat and ate Chinese food. She unlocked her phone and looked at the tweet she received from her home advisor.

Each home would have an adult home advisor so we don't do anything were not suppose to. You know, just to be safe.

"My home advisor is some guy named Frankie. We have house 300. We'll be nowhere near each other." She pouts, then takes a closer look.
"Oh. My. God." Her eyes widen.

"What? What is it?" I ask grinning.

"I am sharing the house with Hayes!" She squeals jumping up and down. I crumble inside.

"Really?" I ask her trying to sound as happy as possible.

I don't freaking care.

"Really! I am so happy I could just..."

"I am so happy for you!" I smile taking a bite of my chicken.

I couldn't care less, literally.

"Thank you. Girl, I am so happy I bought these braulettes!" She squealed again.

Bitch.

"With who else?" I asked her.

She glances back down at her phone.
"Cameron and Lisa Hughes." She giggles. I just roll my eyes. Then, quickly smile to make it seem as if I was just playing.

"This is going to be a dream." She smiles.

"If this is a dream, I just hope Hayes isn't the one to put you to sleep." I mumble, looking away.

Later on that day I was packing some more when my mom came in.

"Done?" She asked peeking in the door.

"Almost." I sigh, sitting on my video couch to take a break. My room was almost empty aside from my bed and couch.

Mom let herself in. Then she sat on my bed.

"I can't believe my little baby is going to be gone for a year." She pouted.

"I'm seventeen turning eighteen soon, mom." I assure her.

"I remember when you and your vine friends were just 15 and 16 just making vine videos here in this very room. You won't even be here for your next birthday. So don't go having too much fun."

"Okay, mom, I'm almost eighteen. I'll be legally allowed to go anywhere I want. Clubs included." I grin. She looks at me weirdly, then looks away.

"And do things." She added. This conversation was turning for the worst. I covered my eyes and sighed.
"Okay, mom, please don't let this lead in to your overrated sex talk." I sit on my bed.

She laughes. "I won't, but I can't stop you from that now. Your an adult now."

I cover my ears and shake my head.
