TWO . . .

' did you guys hear we're gonna have a substitute for english this WHOLE week? ' dayeon told.

' really? ' yujin asked excitedly.

' yeah, apparently mr. jung got in trouble for vandalizing public property or something. ' dayeon said.

'no way. that guy could barely hurt a fly. ' i scoffed jokingly as i placed my used books in my locker.

' well, apparently, yes way! ' dayeon replied.

'oh yeah, i think i heard of that. my brother told me about it like an hour ago. ' hiyyih said.

' who cares. all i care about is no work for a whole week! ' yujin spoke with a grin placed on her face.

' oh guys! we should start heading to class by now. ' hiyyih reminded.

' oh yeah! come on lets go! hee, you done? ' dayeon asked.

' yep- all done! ' i replied back.

' dude, how is your locker THAT messy? like- im a messy person but even thats a lot. ' yujin asked, chuckling.

' look, even i dont know, every time i clean it, it gets messy again in like 2 days! ' i defended.

' okay, damn calm down hulk, it was just a joke. ' yujin chuckled once more and i rolled my eyes playfully.

IN CLASS . . .

i was sat in my seat with my headphones in my ears as the teacher still wasnt here.

i was playing around in my notebook, "drawing" little things that i could think of as the song ' LIKE OOH-AHH ' by TWICE played in my head phones.

a few minutes passed by and i was humming to the somgs that played, until i heard the door finally open and saw a man, around his mid 20's, dressed in a white button up shirt with normal black suit pants, averagly good looking, who i assumed was our substitute, enter the classroom.

i took of my headphones so that they wouldnt get confiscated and so i could hear what the substitute was saying.

"sorry class for being a bit late to the class but im mr. baek and im going to be you substitute teacher for this whole week as your original teacher cant come in this week as he is occupied with personal matters. ' the man who is now known as 'mr. baek' announced.

cheers could be heard from the class bht they were silenced by mr. baek.

' now, i know most of you might think ' oh he's a substitute, we can just take advantage of him and leave the class early ' but no. ' mr. baek spoke.

' your teacher has given me a list of materials that he wants me to give for you guys to do. so dont even try. ' the man said with a slight smile on his face.

and the class groaned as i just chuckled silently at my fellow classmates' reactions.

' now lets take attendance first, then we start doing the materials. ' mr. baek spoke.

' ahn woojin '
' here! '

as mr. baek started calling out names i just focused on my little doodles as i waited for my name to be called.

but then, i suddenly felt a pair of eyes looking at me.

i started to glance around the room to try and see if someone was actually looking at me or if it was just my imagination.

as i kept glancing the room, i suddenly spotted her eyes on
me and as soon as she spotted me looking at she immediately looked away.

' ryujin? '
' no, i am DEFINATELY imagining it. theres no way she was looking at me! '
' but maybe she actually was lookin— '

' lee min-hee ' mr. baek called.

i snapped out of my thoughts to reply to him.

' here! ' i raised my hand. and at the corner of my eye i could see ryujin smirking a bit but i have no idea why.
